I'm so sorry for being quiet these past few days. My kiddo ended up getting sick with another really bad ear infection that ended in a hospital trip and a mean steroid shot (i think) in his leg. But yeh. back, posting again! :D

Sweet ass work in progress shot of a colab ych I'm working on with Merffle! <3 I think it's coming along friggin amazing. Merf did an outstanding job on the expressions imho. This has gone back and forth between us twice now, and i feel it's a great mesh of our styles so far. I can't wait to see this finished. It's been an honor to work with such a talented artist, so far.

Step by step
Here's a fun little thing showing some of the creative process of my work on this piece.
1. Rough sketch: This gives me a quick way to get a pose out of my head and onto the screen. From here I can easily change things about the pose, expression, general anatomy and not waste a lot of time having to re work set lines.
2. Refined sketch: This is where I pay close attention to anatomy, make sure I have the expression I want and fix any errors before I do my linework. I also use this ...

I'm still here, dry, and safe. The rain stopped a couple days ago, we got out internet back, but things are still considerably rough. My family lives closer to the major flooding, including my PawPaw, who also made it through the storm and still seems to be getting a bit better. Food is hard to come by, and gas is scarce.
