Well to say the weekend was a blast is an understatement. It seems I've developed a thirst for cocktails this festive season. Naturally he's happy to oblige as I'm quite a funny drunk. Naturally I started on the porn star martini while he opted for a green lagoon, followed by mojito. The night was full of laughs as we chatted to friends old and new, and even considered one of those electric scooters to ride home. Though we were so drunk we couldn't get it going π

It seems like Gota Fria has finally passed βΊοΈ Today has seen temperatures soaring up to 24C, which is much more amenable to some nude time on the beach, so, naturally we're taking advantage of it....

It's a cold one on the Orihuela Costa today. We woke to the sound of rainfall... Opened up the shutters and was welcomed with grey skies and a howling wind. It's safe to say the 'Gota Fria' is in town.

It's been a struggle staying away from La Marina since we discovered it (proper explorers we are π) but had to make the most of it with the weather turning colder. Now autumn has firmly set in we're looking forward to some cosy nights in, a drop of whiskey to warm the tum, and a spot of Christmas shopping πππ

Monday Madness! This is me taking 5 by the weeds while my hair dries and I mentally prepare for the day. These October mornings are so pleasant. Cool enough to enjoy my dressing gown, but warm enough to open the doors and let the breeze warm my hair. I feel so lucky to be where I am. But then, I realise, that I am where I am because of a series of choices made to be bold, be brave, and be me.

For us the week started with a bang! We've had the landlord over sorting some issues with our accommodation, made plans for the week ahead, shopped for some new tech and managed to squeeze in some much needed pool time. And it's only 5pm....

Date night this week consisted of some damn fine food. After being ill for so long we felt like we needed a good, wholesome feed. And my did we. 3 courses later we were fit to burst π

It's fair to say we've been battered by the heat this year. Restless nights, heat exhaustion, and endless sweating should be coming to an end as we start to see temperatures reduce as August comes to an end... Phew!

It's not all sunshine and lollipops! So last night brought some much needed relief with some stormy weather. We thought we'd take some time for us and soak up the stormy seas...... While the idea was nice in our head the reality was quite different.
These face masks are a real buzz kill, and really fecking hard to breath in. Plus, when the wind blows the wrong way they're borderline lethal π As we're giggling hilariously at the situation we thought we need a pic of this moment.. So here...
It's been hard work getting the house in order with the recent temperatures, but finally, the bedroom is complete. It's been years since I've had the chance to decorate a house how I like it, so naturally I'm making the most of it. Though a 5 bed house takes some organising lol Just some bamboo for the vases and jobs a good 1βΊοΈ
