So I'm not sure if anyone here has been playing "Among Us" but its a fun little game on Steam where you have to figure out who the "Imposter" is in your crew of astronauts, while completing tasks around your ship. A lot of artist have been drawing their versions of the characters and I wanted to join in on that. So here is Red and Yellow! (Yellow is my main)

So I've decided, after a bit of consideration and a good, long look at what Im currently capable of, that I'm going to be taking out the "linework" portion of Periwinkle Blue pages and using just the sketch/fullcolors. I hope this isnt an upsetting change to anyone, and I hope it doesnt feel like a step backwards in my progress, but the truth is I just HATE doing linework. I started this before I left for my quick trip to Las Vegas (which didn't end up being a good trip... but that's neither here nor there) and I wanted to finish it before diving back into my PB pages.

Mini Comic "Flash Flood Warning" Sneak Peak.

I just wanted to give you guys another update, but I didn't have anything else to offer you except for a page of the mini-comic I am slowly working on. This is an unfinished page-- it still needs to be colored and shaded, but I thought you might like to see Beau being naughty. 

For those of you who bought this mini-comic along with the pre-order of Honorable Discharge, it's looking like its going to be about 17 or 18 pages total.

Yellow Thorns

In the last two days I've found it hard to shift my mindset out of "I just lost my home in a fire" to "I need to work on my comics" and I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop. 

I'm not taking a "hiatus" but bear with me while I try to piece things back together. I'm dealing with a big insurance claim on top of a LOT of grief and drawing hasn't come easily, although my heart really wants it to.

Yesterday I warned you guys about the fires in my area, and today I am back with horrible news. The entire town I lived in (Phoenix, OR and a neighboring town) have been destroyed. I have lost everything except for my laptop/tablet, my cat, and the clothes I wore when I evacuated. This is a huge tragedy, but of course I'm thankful I have my life and especially still have my cat with me.

Personal Update - FIRES in southern OR.

I feel obligated to let you guys know, earlier this afternoon a fire started south of my town (in Southern OR) and forced me to evacuate my apartment and head north. I am safe at my parents house with my cat, but the fire has been blazing for hours now and they are still evacuating people. As far as I can tell, the fire is not under control, and it has destroyed buildings and businesses around my home.

Okay so.... I know i had already sort of come up with a cover design, but it was bugging me in a lot of ways. The main one being that it felt a little juvenile for the story. So i decided to try again, with something different. Something more solemn and romantic (because it is a romance after all). 

I like this cover design a lot better than the other one, so i hope you guys do too! I plan on making the other cover design into a post-card print to go along with the pre-order packag...

Northern Lights - REDRAW :)

This is one of the very first illustrations I did of Drew and Luca! And its about.... oh three (at least) years old now. Ive thought about redrawing it a couple times and decided to finally just do it. Its amazing what three years can do when youre drawing literally EVERY day.

Honorable Discharge - Cover design (?)

I'm still not 100% sold on this as the cover because I keep going back and forth, unable to decide if i love it or if i want something completely different. But I wanted you guys to see it, so you can tell me what you think! 

Things I do like about it --

- bright, easily noticeable 

- delicious skin tones

- simple but very obviously gay

Things I don't like about it

-It's eye level, vs being more dynamic (like birds eye view or worms eye...

Cover Design - #3 ???

I had to walk away from the first two versions of this idea for a while, but once i came back to it I think i was able to flesh out the issues and problems I was having. 

This 3rd version has more movement, more action. I think Beau and Sage look more engaged with each other.
