Chinatsu summer 2021 outfit (hi-res)

Summer's here so recently I worked on the new outfit for Chinatsu on the overlay.

It's the first time she's in a swimsuit on the overlay, so I wanted to bring back the classic golden bikini. :3

Took a couple iterations but I'm pretty happy with how it looks now. I did a major redraw to her hips and it should look a lot better and more anatomically correct. The shading's also better overall. It's probably the best Chinatsu has looked. :>

This is my first time drawing a mecha pilot suit! It was a bigger challenge than I thought. In my research I found that there is not a whole lot of cohesion in pilot suit designs out there, so I flip flopped on the design a few times and in the end I came out with this. I hope it looks okay. :p

Also, shiny tushie and booba. Hm hm.

This was a challenging scene to light. At first I meant for it to be lit from a ceiling light, but the lighting didn't feel like it was quite coming together, so then I had the idea of adding that lamp behind her. Overall the lighting could probably be more realistic, but I think this works. :p

Actually, the swimsuit is more like a leotard that was part of the costume, but here it's stripping out all the other bits of clothing down to only the leotard. :p

One of my spicier pieces to date, no clothing in sight. I think the snakes ate it. Those rascals.

Speaking of, drawing the snakes was actually quite the challenge. Their anatomy and scales and patterns is tricky to capture. I hope it looks okay. =w=

April sketch rewards!

Steadily catching up in the sketch rewards. Loads of them this month, including multiple character sketches, and a few colored ones!

Technically MFUS' Russula is not a sketch reward, it was actually a birthday gift, but I figured it'd fit here too. :p

Now the colored sketches are a bit fancier because they use the new fancy shading technique. If you guys have any stacked up slots, don't forget, you can use one of them to color a sketch. :>
