This is a piece I initially drew almost 2 years ago, back when I was doing experiments with mixing 2D with 3D. I did these renders of the background (by UncleMugen!) and the racket and tried to make them mesh together with the look of the girls, but it never quite came together to my liking, so I shelved it, and it was shelved for so long that I think it's beyond finishing now. Given her aesthetic, I thought a sunsettish kind of setting would compliment it great. It's not a time of day I'm used to doing, but this was a good time to practice that. Shiori was harder to figure out costumes for. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe I just have a harder time fitting spooky ideas with her more genki personality. In the end I ended up going with:

Shiori started as my Valentines girl in 2014 and I've been making at least a piece with her every year since. She's canonically Inami's BFF, and she's genki and has cute short hair and is a cutiepie. :>

Next up in the new workout girls is Inami! She's the heroine from Cuttlebone, the short VN I made in 2015, and she's an athletic cutie. One of the primordial Kuro waifus.
