Chapter 231 - Strong But Weak

They arrived sometime in the middle of the night, and were ordered straight to their rooms, with orders to report back to sickbay whenever they woke up, to have their bodies checked for any lingering frost damage. Meanwhile, the injured were shipped off to sickbay, with Rel, Tuk and Mul expecting to be discharged by the afternoon of the following day, and Gad requiring some more intensive healing, but expected to make a full recovery within the next three to four days.

Chapter 222 - Ice Goblins

Nar crept forward, followed by the purple-blue armored spearwoman, and headed towards the now eerily silent cave entrance.

“We’ll get them back,” he whispered to the ring tosser as he took his place.

“Just stay alive, man,” Tuk said, giving him a pointed look. “The rings don’t matter.”

Chapter 221 - The Cave

The way up to the cave proved thankfully uneventful, and other than a few trips and scrapes here and there, the party eventually found itself crouched behind a dense growth of bushes and tightly knit branches, spying on the cave entrance a few feet from them, the sky having long gone dark overhead.

Nar’s heart was in his mouth, as he silently watched Jul creep her way towards the cave, from which a flickering of orange flames shone.

Chapter 220 - How (Cheap) Potions Work

Viy deposited him at Kur’s and Gad’s feet, while the others were rummaging through the bodies, looking for any valuable loot.

“What in the pile happened here?” Kur whispered, taking in the scene. “Are those white goblins? And are they looting the forest goblins?”

“They fought each other, and the forest goblins lost,” Nar explained. “Those wolf riders were throwing ice skills around, and they killed the troll… And I don’t think the other trolls are alive either. They would’ve been here, fighting with the forest goblins to survive if they were.”

Nar turned his down at the unexpected voice, and a smile slowly spread across his lips.

“Well, well, well,” he said, looking down at a very uncomfortable and embarrassed Cen, still cradled in his arms, but very much awake now. “Good morning!”

Chapter 217 - In The Fog

Black and white sharp lines floated in a living blackness that absorbed all sound, and it all felt so familiar. A reminder of the cubeplant. Of home.

The memories of the warm golden light and the gentle caress of the breeze were distant now, and they walked in silence, in the cold darkness.

Chapter 216 - Experimentation

The cave was not far from the Goblin Camp, and stood, half-buried, within a small clearing in the forest. With a trickle of Mul’s aura, the aura heater filled up the small cave with a comforting red glow, and it made for a surprising  more than passable accommodation for the night.

Gad stood by the opening, almost blocking the narrow entrance with her muscular frame, and scanned the impenetrable darkness with a piercing stare, Nar sitting by her side.

Chapter 215 - Yup, Something's Very Wrong Here

“I can’t sense anything anymore,” Jul whispered.
