Greetings All!
Barbarian’s at the gate, it always struck a cord as such an interesting phrase when I was young. I think it still does.
Shard of the Primal: This was one of the more fun designs and implementations. Besides the inherent and visceral idea of Rage, the idea that it taps into a primal urge is nothing new. Tying it to a Primordial energy was a logical step, so it pretty much handed itself from there. I had a lot of fun wi...

Continuing the trend of Randomness.
Spell’s Daily Edition - Vol 2: Continuing the trend of the book uploads, originally there were a few months between but I like them paired these days. After the creation of the first one, I had already begun work into the next. It was important for me to show the book development along with the spell power growth. I think it played out well with the results so fair. Can’t wait to hop on ...

Who doesn’t love an odd table here and there for a touch of random.
Spell’s Daily Edition - Vol 1: This one was a lot of fun, I love books about as much as I do shields and this one was a lot of small things combined into a much bigger idea. Purposed as a much different idea, and then imagined into a magazine I eventually settled into the idea of a thinner pulp like book that would evolve over several stages. The table was alway...

Straight from the arsenal of Samhain, my little main.
Shield of the Dawnfather: Inspired by a cross of my last holy shield (Pikt’s Sarenrae Shield) and working in my deep love of Dragon Age. I have a soft spot for shields, seems that I always will. The shield cam together after that, I know I wanted a center slit for vision or use with a sword/sheild and it all came together from there.

Finally a Crossbow!
Dwarven Crank Bolter: This was largely inspired by my love of the crossbows in Skyrim mixed with a love of crossbows in general. I really enjoyed how the unique combination turned out in the final take after layering out several different inspirations. The crank arm was one of the most fun headaches I have dealt with recently, and would love to revisit a hand crossbow sometime soon.

History is awesome, I highly recommend checking out museums when in search of inspiration for items.
Booming Morning Star: One of the most fun things about item crafting is trying to fit the ingenuity of humans into a statted block. The sheer fact that we had and relied on gun clubs for an extended period of history is a mixture of Metal and Dwarven Empire goals. I definitely loved trying to balance this fire-arm and blunt ins...

Straight out of my childhood.
Spinner Seedling: Who didn’t play with these as a kid, I know they are a midwest staple but they just seem so intertwined with childhood to me. Mixing that bit of childhood mysticism and a touch of the arcane was a special bit of fun.
- Art: Added in more blue veins of arcane spanning throughout.
- Line Art: Softened the edge color.<...

A movie trope as an item.
Tools of the Blood Price: I loved the trope of burrowing into the skin for a tool to use in a dire situation. For this all I did was try to fit it into a D&D verse, with darker undertones. The blood crystals playing a homage to a few different fantasy stories. I had a lot of fun seeing how this one would play out, and I hope you enjoy them.

A small throwback to my love of the movie Stardust!
Lavender Snow Drop: This has origins in one of my favorite magical items, altered to fit a boon. Given a bit of flair to fit the classic idea of a Bard, I really enjoyed seeing ways to make it magical without making it the delicate glass flower like the movie. I went with a classic approach to the engravings and glow, while adding a thin metal pin.

One of my favorite looking items lately.
Caster’s Siphon: This was partially inspired by some of the wonderful fantasy films of the past few years. The amount of inspiration that the elaborate designs and quality of even underrated films is nothing to discard. I had a lot of fun with this one and a clear focus for the design, so making this one was a joy. Hope you liked it as well!

And now my latest brooch!
Brooch of the Dusk Warden: This was directly inspired by two of my big fantasy influences, Dragon Age and Thor (Marvel Comics in general really) I saw a haggard brooch in Thor Ragnarok, and decided to use it as a base for an item. Growing it to pay homage to one of my favorite Thor Stories (last stand of the executioner) and the order of the Grey Wardens. One of my favorite boons so far, hope yo...

The discord is open if you need anyone to talk to. We have a small gathering there. I will do my best to continue to be active as possible going forward on there as well as sharing upcoming art/items.

My first Brooch, and a much needed knick-knack for Wondrous items.
Brooch of the Elements: I was lucky enough to go to Ireland about two years back and it was my first introduction to the Tara Brooches of small fame. I had wanted to try and capture a bit of the wonder they contained. I lucked out in finally finishing it, just in time for Winfrey from the Witcher to rock one as well. Happy accidents. This most recent ver...

For the primal shaman in all of us.
The Elder’s Cuff: The idea of something handed down through a long line of spiritual guides each adding a small addition, really hit home for a druidic item. Touching on the animal bones and shards being attached to generations past and possibly their companions/familiars as well. It just had all the right vibes, I really hope you enjoy as well.

This is a call back to what got me interested in item creation.
The Chosen’s Reliquary: So growing up I received two artbooks that I still have on my desk to this day, Spider-Man and Hellboy movie production art. They both were a big eye opener for me on what was possible out there. If you remember the first hellboy movie, you might recall the small reliquary of protection given to abe. This owes it’s roots to that scene a...
