Dorohedoro: Noi and Shin!

Dorohedoro is incredibly weird and I love it. It's an ultraviolent setting of nonsense magic and demons where life is cheap and death is brutal but, rather than edgy and grimdark, the nihilism is laidback and colorful.

It also has two groups of opposing protagonists and one of those groups are Shin and Noi. Shin is great for his own reasons, but it's impossible not to love Noi.

She's a tank, healer, and DPS who likes to laugh, hates bullies, and murders people with her bare hand...

This week we're trying to stay ahead of the honorable mentions!

I have not forgotten about Rebecca Bluegarden either, but Ayako's first request was older than Rebecca's and I needed an arbitrary metric to choose one by, so here we are.

Of note is that Ayako's design is also -marginally- simpler than Rebecca's and that grants her a slight advantage on a week where a long standing assignment to digitally clean up a batch of comic book art for a friend has finally come due.

A Change to Polls: Muscle Art Gets its own!

I've been thinking about it and the conclusion I've come to is that I want to try giving my Monthly Muscle MAX drawings their own poll and see what happens.

My thinking is that, while the honorable mention system does exist to give characters with more niche appeal a shot at getting a painting, I worry that Muscle Drawing requests just have too much of an uphill battle.

While my intention was always to mix both into my lineup, when I started out as "Flex Muffinator" covid...
