Sorry for the lack of updates!

I'll have an update on the drawing tomorrow; if not during the day then by tomorrow night. I've been working kind of late on my contracted projects and its thrown my entire flow of evening activities into disarray. (Surprise! Chonk drawings are one of my evening activities!)

Anyway, I'll rearrange some stuff and get things back on track.

Emergency Deadline Attack

So, due to several circumstances and obnoxious happenings I currently have two and a half weeks to get three fairly involved fully painted illustrations done for a book so I'm going to have to pull light duty for the time being. As such the next month will probably consist of single character portraits, a la the image of Claire I just published; maybe even a little simpler than that.

I might be able to advance my Genshin plot by publishing single panels or something but that's probably...

It was suggested that I do more 'fancy dress' images and it seemed like a good idea, so here's Claire all dressed up for... something! I don't know what because I didn't think that far ahead!

I was originally going to have some dialogue in this but decided against it. I know that's kind of my thing, but not every image needs to have a story or a punch line, does it?

Weekly Work 6-14

I'm feeling extra run down tonight for some reason so this week we'll be going with a relatively simple, not plot driven image of ya girl, Claire, lookin' fancy for some kind of function as someone suggested that I should draw more 'classy fats' since Big Black Dress was... a thing that.... people liked. Or something.

This was harder than it should have been! Partly because of my indecisive nature in regards to how to adapt a character I really like, partly because of her weird shorts and tunic, and partly because my tablet was very slightly off calibration and I couldn't draw a straight line to save my life and I didn't know why!

Anyway, EVENTUALLY she came out pretty good, if a bit bigger than she needed to. But, HEY, I'm sure no one in this community is going to complain about that!
