Reinbach is Out Sick This Week

It's with a heavy heart that I make this post, but I'm afraid I have to just admit when I'm beat here. I haven't had a cold this bad in quite some time, and over the last few days I've just fallen further and further behind schedule. My thanks to Kace for the question! I wondered if Casey's story might be a bit too fucked up for TRW's tone, but in the end it just felt wrong to censor her. But what do you think? Is it too much? Let me know. And while you're at it I'm still taking questions for the other characters as well. Hope you guys like this scene, I've been waiting for Derek and Elianna to clash for what feels like ages. Meanwhile we've got Millie and Kristina rocking their costumes from the game, (with Kristina standing in almost her exact spot in the lobby,) and with the Link's Awakening remake coming out tomorrow, I couldn't resist the urge to put Kayden in another bucket mouse shirt. EDIT: Reworked Lydia's dialog in panel one. I feel like it reads a little better this way, and shows the robotic efficiency that she's approaching her acting ambitions with. I've included the original draft for comparison. 

I hope you guys liked this scene! Now that I've got Halver properly set up, I'm looking extra forward to bringing him back. But for now, I think it's time to check in on Derek. :)

In any case, I'm thrilled for Halver to finally be properly revealed, as now I can start chipping away at the idea that he's just a male Switch. He and Lydia have a pretty different dynamic than Casey and Switch did, and I'll do my best to show that as we go along. :)

Believe it or not, I'm not trying to portray the "mean jock" stereotype with (oh let's just call him Jeff) here. I think I've shown enough of Lydia's personality for readers to infer that Jeff may have had every right to get frustrated with her. My thanks to Jonoffen for the question! With this one especially, I've decided I'll have to take some occasional liberties with the character's respective heights if I want to keep them comfortably in frame for these strips. As under normal circumstances, Parker would have to be sitting on at least two phone books to come anywhere near that height on Courtney.
