Marie update status!

Hi everyone!

Still working very hard on Marie's first update. There's a LOT going on in these pages so I apologise for how long it's taking. But I think early next week I should be posting it. Not every update will take this long. Here it's the setting and there's a lot of people. And it's in color. 

But worry not it's coming.

Marie and Pinup updates!

I don't have a lot of new except I'm working and it's taking time. ;) But I hate radio silence and wanted to keep you guys in the loop! Here's the inking of page 1 of the new Marie update! This is such a badass character. I really can't wait to show the next pages. :)

Marie Status!

Howdy everybody!

Just wanted to keep you all up to date as Marie's next update is coming along. The first update will be a beast for me. It will be 4 pages and the first three have a LOT going on. People, a bar... The works. But I'm inking. You know me, once the first update comes out. I won't let up. 

The starter takes a little longer because I need to storyboard and letter everything. But I'm inking it now. Which means, it's GO TIME!

Hello everyone!

So here we go! Starting a new year with a new chapter for Marie. I've pretty much storyboarded the 3rd chapter of the story and am now starting my cleaning up of the very rough sketches. The chapter starts with a quick flashback to characters I've hinted in the last one. Can't wait to share more about them.

The quick intro is about  Cormac and Finn. Show a bit of who they are so when we jump back to Marie and Tera, we kinda have  an idea who they...

I've been rather busy outside the Patreon thing, but I've been doing things that will benefit these comics, believe me.

As I'm right now storyboarding Marie chapter 3, I just wanted to give you a quick glimpse for a character that will be there at the start of the story. She's part of a biker gang. Can't wait to share more!

New character input!

As I am moving forward with Marie's next chapter, I am finding myself looking for inspiration on a new female character.  This is a female character that will appear only once, at the start of this chapter and I wanted to have input from you.

Even thought I'm not a caricaturist, I will often inspire myself from certain models or even other comic book characters.

BRANDY Final update #9

Well that was something. Super happy to give you the final Brandy update for the first chapter of this story. I will come back to it after I finish Marie.

It was also a transition as I switched to Clip paint, but I'm glad I did. It's made for making comics. 

So with this, I will try to squeeze in the pinup before Christmas, but It may end up a little after. Sorry about that. But you're not here to hear about my ramblings are you? Here are the last pages of the chapter. <...

Okay I know it's more fun to see the ladies, but I'm inking Stewart's father and am just loving the mirror look of father and son. Also, I like to play with shapes and couldn't stop myself from giving him a mustache with the same shape as his hair.

Brandy status

Guys,

I'm almost done inking the next Brandy update. I apologize as it's taking me a little longer for two reasons.

1 - I'm using and learning to adapt to a new software for artwork.

2 - The next update will be 5 pages. (3 pages and a double spread)

So it's a lot of work. Good news is that the more I use the new software, the faster I go. I'm also discovering that it will help me work faster in the long run as Clip Paint is literally made for artists. It's brilliant. 2023-12-17 17:50:23 +0000 UTC View Post

Brandy WIP

Hey everyone!

I'm steadily inking the next Brandy and I'm finding my footing. The instrument doesn't work exactly to the same sensitivity as Photoshop so that is what worried me at first. But the more I use it the better I like it. 

Anyway I just wanted to share that it's going really good. Eager to get you this and the pinup for before Christmas!

RIP Photoshop

Well the days has finally come. 

I've been using an older version of photoshop for years now. Why? It was reliable and stable. The most recent ones are very pricy and buggy as hell. It's amazing to me that they charge so much for something so unstable.

That being said... I'm officially jumping into Clip Paint. Doing the official switch. What does it mean for you? Nothing. There may be some slight differences at first...  I might need some adjustment time, but I'll get th...

Brandy Status

Hi everyone!

I apologize again as this week has been me trying to get back on track of things. The next Brandy update is fully inked and the coloring is well underway. I wanted to keep everybody up to date because I said the update would be by the end of this week. Last week's events have bled a little into this one so I'm really trying to catch up. I'm getting there! I've also made the layout of December's pinup! Really hope it sticks to landings!

Letting you know that I'm working on Brandy's update. There are only two left before the end of this chapter. This will not be the end of the Brandy story however but I would like to get back to Marie and finish that story before getting back to this one. I hope that's okay.

Apologies, the pinup still isn't up yet. Had a bit of a health issue this weekend. Nothing serious just bothersome.

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to let you know I'm into the colors of the next update of Brandy right now. Took me a little longer because I added a page at the last minute. (It's still a 3 page update,  it just means that one is already inked and pushed to the next one). Sometimes it happens. It's always for the story. Regardless the content.

Also, update #4 is now unlocked to everyone, not sure if I clicked "notify" in time when I did it.
