Just wanted to post this colored image (Still WIP) I'm trying something new for the colors and I think this way of working is a lot of fun. There is no inked line for this process so it gives a more animated vibe.

Hello everyone!

I'm almost done with the clean up of the Riley comics, which means that next is the inking.

My question to you is would you rather have Riley cleaned up in black and white or full color. 

Black and white releases quicker updates.

Full color takes a little longer.

I love both process but wanted to have your imput and preferences.

Fan Cover

Hi everyone.

Sometimes I'll start sketching something and then it goes somewhere unexpected. I'm a huge fan of MC Bourbonnais. She did a character called "Hornet". I wanted to draw her and from one thing to another... I did this cover. Which is all it is... A cover. There's no plan for an actual comic. At least not of Hornet. 

But dare to dream, huh?

Riley update!

Just a quick update that over the weekend I worked a lot on the layout of the Riley story and the text and word balloon placements. More sketched pages will be coming along shortly.

In the meantime I did a quick Brandy sketch of her at her hypnotherapist just to have an excuse to draw her.

Amber Alert v.3

Hello true believers!

This is it! The final story update of Amber. I hope you enjoy it. I've had a blast but that was a LOT of work. What started as a gag story that was supposed to take me a few weeks well...

Here we are.

I will do a last update with text check and add music and sounds in the coming weeks but right now I just want to draw and give regular updates to you guys.

Apologies as I have not shown any art for a bit but please be patient!

I'm aiming for this weekend for the Amber update as I'm coloring the remaining art as of now! The difficult part was setting up the sequence and it was harder then anticipated. But it's smooth coloring from here on!

Alpha Male

So I didn’t have a computer this week. Tha did not stop me from sketching new ideas. These are mock-ups for Alpha Male (from Mighty Honey). I liked his original design at first but left the book feeling he lacked originality a bit. Here is my new take on him. I will post more of them later!

I've pretty much cleaned up my last scene and will now process to the inking stage. It's a lot bigger than the other sequences (Even if I'm sure it will take a minute to go throught...) but still, I'm getting more confident and learning and having fun!

Amber (and other) update!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Amber's next update. It is taking me a lot longer then I first thought... (remember that this isn't my day job sadly) So the final update will be around end of this month as there's a lot of art to clean up. I'm adding also as I go because I'm having so much fun.

Okay I think I finally figured her out.

I've been very hesitant with the Sarah character from the room mate. I want to bring her back but something didn't click. Her design to me felt too quiet. Well today I've drawn, inked and colored her and for the first time I felt like she spoke back. She felt visually very similar to Brandy. Now she feels like her own character and really love her red head color and the curls. I will definitely go back and finish the storyboard of her next storyli...

Ren'py format

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to acknowledge that I know that not everyone has been able to see the Ren'py interactive visual novels like Amber or Brandy. I've tried to export to phone format but this is above my paygrade as someone who is not a programmer. My range and patience is limited and have already tried and failed many times to understand the procedure.

Amber Alert update!

Hey everyone!

Update 2 is now available at all tiers as of this morning and to celebrate the upcoming 3rd update here are some sketches totally out of context.

This little project took me totally by surprise. It renew my interest in doing more digital stories like this and Amber Alert kind of shifted into something more fun then I thought. These characters are not actually in the story thought they are mentioned. It will make sense when you see it.
