A quick update. I've been working today and yesterday on a secret project. It's very awesome. It has slightly delayed my progress for the visual novel, but it will be worth it I promise.

As I am finishing my non patreon assignment today, I needed to vent a bit of Marie. So here's a quick cover mockup for issue #5 of Marie. I will be jumping back to Brandy's Digital Novel tomorrow but I really wanted to do a first pass/sketch mockup of the cover as I have also started to storyboard the issue as well a few weeks back. The Northverse is about to break open.

Hey everyone!
Just a quick update on how things are going.
I am setting up the next Digital Novel scene as of now. Thing are moving well. I'm trying to aim for early next week for the next Ren'py update. It's awesome and very hot.
When I'm quiet it's usually a sign that I'm working. It's never me sitting on my thumbs. I'm always either working to move my project further, or doing something else that I need to like a project that pays the bills.

I'm being overdramatic but I had a hard time nailing the personality I wanted for Kaitlyn's hair. Weird I know. One reminded me too much of Pebbles, the other Marge.... I did one that reminded me of Janine of Ghostbusters but I wanted a hair that would fit her and not leave an aftertaste of someone else.

Moving along the next update, getting BG finished, new characters and poses. Everything is moving where it's supposed to and here's a quick teaser with Kaitlyn, Pam and their boss. This movie section of the story is bigger then earlier "flashback" sequences, but it will payoff to the climax of the story. It will be worth it, I promise.

John here. I've been continuing Thank you for coming, as I've update ver 1.3 recently. Already at work with the next part. It's coming along well and bringing new characters in Brandy's movie.
One of them being Kaitlyn, formerly Nina. I changed her name for programming reasons. No joke. Here's a quick peek of her, I changed her look from the previous sketch, as I really had an itch for a red head. She has a "Pebbles" vibe, but I don't care. She's very funny in the story....

A few people are thinking that the black haired woman is Max's stepmom. It's not, it's Brandy in the movie she's showing Max. She starts with black long hair. While Diana is shorter, has eyes more pointy and green with no nose bump. :) Her hair is more charcoal black then Brandy.
Just wanted to point it out. And yes, Diana has a bigger presence coming up.

I'm almost there. Just a few more images to update into the engines and dialogue review and sound. I should be ready to update monday if everything holds up. I apologize, I thought it would be ready before but I keep udpating my illustrations and adding expressions to make sure everything makes the novel better.

As I am putting the visual with the words, I'm also adapting an adding new visuals. This is part of the process as when I do the playback, sometimes I feel like I need to add either a pose or an expression. Sometimes even a new scene. So I'm still aiming for this week. It may be this weekend but the next update is almost here and the continuation of the date is going well. :)

I'm putting a lot of stuff for this sequence. The 3rd chapter is pretty epic as Brandy shows Max her Bay Rider movie. As it could be an entire Digital Novel for itself. I'm trying to scope it down a bit but I'm having so much fun with it. Hope you all love it.
