I have here an experiment. I wrote a story just as it came to me, purely in the interests of having fun with it. Life in the Stacks technically takes place in the same universe as Ten Thousand Miles Up, but it’s half a galaxy away from those events. You can think of it as a mix of Dark City, the vaults from Fallout, and Portal. Where all the “subjects” are a race of mouse people in subjugation to lion people who have gone so long without ethical oversight, it gets kinda weird.

Playing with some character elements here--as much as I like my INA character Kiti, I've had trouble rounding her out. As it happens, she is both sheltered and a bit spoiled as her tribe's scion of the High Priestess, while she's extremely adept at magic, the real world is a bit more difficult. I'm going to stream the remainder of the Housepets cover sketched today, but afterwards, I'm going to do one or two for-fun pictures. I don't have anything in mind, give me suggestions! Only rule is that it's just for a single picture, no comics. Additionally, I PROBABLY won't be doing any Housepets characters, and I'm in the mood for drawing fun/sexy (I really need to unwind you see) As these are freebies, I do reserve the right to change details as I see fit.
