Cartoonizing a photo expression can be a challenging exercise because sometimes the more accurate you are, the more wrong it looks! I started with the harder grimacing face, because if I couldn't get that right, there would be no point in continuing. My process with these is usually:

I read a story (a while ago, so I might get some of the details wrong) about a mom who's kid loved Paw Patrol yogurts. They wouldn't eat any other kinds, which gave the mom an idea! She bought a pack of Paw Patrol stickers and stuck them on foods the kid wouldn't eat. Low and behold -it worked! Absolute genius!
