Imp is now the first BEW character to be drawn by someone other than me. And that someone is none other than Bulumblebee!
Imp was redesigned when I drew her chibi sprites and was very much in need of a new full sprite. I don't think things could have turned out better than they did! Bee was an absolute joy to work with ^^

New Futomo alt costume?!
I wasn't planning on this at all, but I got the urge to draw something while I was resting. I wanted to draw Futomo in particular, but then I liked the pose, and then I figured I might as well make it an alt costume, and so I ended up working anyway. It was still a great change of pace though, and I took my time with it.

Thank you again for all the support, as well as the many bug reports/suggestions!
As I mentioned in my last post, I've been taking a much needed break. My brain has finally stopped dreaming up new bugs and nonsensical solutions in my sleep, and I've been able to take care of a bunch of IRL stuff. After almost a week of debugging, the game is in a state I'm more confident to show.
I still feel terrible about the previous one, but I want to thank everyone for all the support and kindness you showed me despite that, as well as all the bug reports. I never really knew the meaning of anxiety before this, but the overwhelming positivity really, really helped me through this.

So a lot of bugs have been found! Apparently, many of them are due to the save system being wonky. Not saving might be tough to clear the story, so if you're not ready for that, it might be better to wait until I fix everything.

After over 3 years of work, the next demo is finally here!
I'm currently extremely tired, so I'll keep this short: you might have seen me mention this in the Discord server, but please keep in mind that this is a WIP! The story is fully playable, but there will likely be bugs here and there. I didn't encounter any game crashing ones and put as much time as I possibly could in this version, but it will surely need to be updated a few times!

Some more NPC chibis! Cowgirls to the left, Sheep girls to the right. You might recognize one of the Cowgirl NPCs, the one with brown hair. I revealed her a while back but I didn't have a name for her back. I do now though: Her name is Cookie!

Oh!
You might recognize the 2 Sheep girls to the left, who were recently revealed. They now have a name, too! The tall one is Nina, and the short one is Noni.
The other 2 Sheep girls don't have a name, they're random NPCs you'll see around in a new town, similar to most of the Voleians in Sablee.
And then, there's a new Voleian! In case you haven't recognized her outfit yet, it's the same as Vuu ^^

We had small sheep, now here is long sheep!
I'm extremely happy with how she turned out. I originally had the idea of giving her a tired expression, but she ended looking cool. She might be the coolest BEW character so far, even!
I really liked the idea of giving her a long upper body with big booba :B Her top turned out to be a big pain to draw, but I think it turned out really good. I'm very happy with the feeling of weight, too.

New NPC! Short Sheep girl!
The first of 2 new NPCs to be revealed. I'm very happy with how she turned out, she's very short and cute but still has a mature feel to her ^^
I also gave her a thick black outline, like the chibis have. I was debating whether or not to do this for bigger illustrations, but I think it looks really nice. It's simple, but it makes the whole character feel more dynamic! I'm going to do this for every character from now on ^^

And finally, Slimegirl chibi!
I'm especially satisfied with this one, to the point where she might be my favorite chibi set. Her nature as a slimegirl required quite a bit of details, with all the reflected light, the light patterns, and of course the blobcats. As you can see, she's also getting an updated design. To be honest, she's one of a few I was pretty unhappy with. I liked her at first, but I can't look at her anymore, hence the new design. I'm very, very happy with how she turned out. If you remember her battle sprite, she looked a bit different. There were a few things about her design I wasn't very happy with. I've made her skin more red and the rocks more brown, gave her actual panties, two pointy little toes, and changed the way the rocks look by making them more like stalagmites/stalagtites, rather than clusters. I still like her design a lot! She's one of the earliest monstergirls I drew for BEW ^^
As usual I tried to make her personality come through the chibis, I wanted her to be upbeat and expressive despite her facial expressions being somewhat limited. I think I did a pretty good job! Translating her helmet into chibi form gave me quite a bit of trouble, but I managed to make the details fit ^^
