Sorry for how long this one took. I've been in and out of the hospital for this and that the last week. Glad to say its nothing super serious, but I might need to go back in eventually. I'll let you know more as I get details. Anyway, story time. This one is shorter than I wanted it to be for how long it took, but the next one should be faster.

Regarding the MC server, we think we've found a pack that hits all the right buttons for everyone, so we're skipping the 2nd poll. Its called Integrated MC, and is mostly exploration with a little bit of automation for the diehard automation fans. We're looking for a host and we'll have news on that front once we find a decent one.

The results are in! RPG/Exploration takes it. Seems like Wildcard was the least liked option, which is good for you guys, because I would have rigged the 2nd poll and forced you all to play RLcraft lmao.
I did notice that a lot of people also wanted some automation regardless, so we'll look at using a pack that includes Create or something else, but still has a focus on the exploration side. If you have suggestions for a pre-made modpack that fits the exploration theme, I'd be glad to ...

After thinking on it long and hard, I've decided to scrap the "two chapters from any works are withheld for patrons" and go with a more standard "two chapters from every work are withheld for patrons."
This doesn't really change anything for current patrons, but the way it was laid out was confusing for new patrons coming in and was a bit of a pain to keep organized. I'm going to focus hard on getting that backlog built so I can go back to making public release...

The game stat stuff in here for the custom moves doesn't apply to the story, it just a fun extra.
That was a long time coming, wasn't it? It was exhausting getting to this point for sure. This roughly marks the 2/3rds point in the story. I'll be taking a short break from BoC to work on other things for a bit before picking up Act 3. As a reminder, now that Act 2 is finished, we're going back to the 2 chapter withholding for patrons.

So life has been kicking me in the ass recently and slowed my writing pace to a crawl. The biggest one being trying to get a house and move. Not dead, still working. This one is looking close to done, but I'm debating on combining this chapter and the Act 2 finale into one 10k+ word chapter. We'll see where it goes.
Also, once Act 2 is finished, BoC will go on a short break. I want to wait and see if any of the recent pokemon leaks contain anything of note / get acknowledged as canon. In the mean time, I'll be working on Borne of Desire, Dark Tidings, and Automata Gigue.

Sorry about how long this is taking. As I said in another update, I've been trying to move recently. The last house deal fell through at the last second, and that sent a huge wrench in my plans and slowed everything down in general. It looks like this new one is going to go through without the seller pulling a fast one, so that should be one headache solved.

They seem to think I'm depressed, which I've got mixed feelings about. Progress is coming along good. The 4th of July weekend slowed me down a little, as well as replacing my old car with something a bit more reliable (thank you all for that btw, as it's your generosity that paid for it), but we're back on track.
