All done! :D This was challenging but I found a new love for the finger tip brush tool. It helps make tufts of fur look soft and plush, and I think it compliments my shading style.

Ooooh boy, I'm trying a new fur shading technique that's much easier for me to digest, no pun intended. This time.

Happy 8/8 Day everyone! I've got a ton of scheduled art to pop up on Twitter of gifts and commissions that I've gotten, so even though this isn't done ON 8/8 day, there's plenty to look forward to from me while I'm up at my boyfriend's house.
I'm beginning to enjoy the convenient shortcut of cutaway shots. Since sound will be included later, it will have more context, haha.
I don't think I'll actually be able to finish this in time for 8/8 day since a friend from out of town will show up tomorrow, and I'm visiting my boyfriend from Sunday to Tuesday, but there will be more next week to show, if not completely done.
Hoooo boy. This one's gonna be a quickie, but this is also a gift for my pal Blutengel. We're not far from belly town believe it or not.

I had been mulling over a new character for a few days now and I decided to pop out a quick sketch as a concept.
Bosco is an "aggressive teddy bear" in the sense that he doesn't like being viewed or associated with being a "soft guy." He subscribes to the idea of being tough is manly. A commission that I did for Mechedragon on FA/Twitter! Improvising paneling is a lot of fun, and I definitely like the "fill the page" style of comic work I see a lot of other artists do.

Phew. Believe it or not but the hardest part of the coloring phase was actually the bulges. Not the lighting or background. Next update is likely to be the finished piece!

Lining is nearly done but in some instances I need to take the effects out so I can make the entire scene move with the background once it's drawn in. I might redo the opening scene into something else more "fitting" for the theme. But otherwise, lots of progress was made today.
