Hope you're all doing well! I have started to work on 0.17, and 0.16c is mostly prepared which includes the Zahra scene animation and one animation for Lirah's bad path (the one on the bed), as well as some dialogue stuff.

The bunker consists of more than just Fangs, Ivy/Yuna, Pepper, and Mantis (if you brought her back from the Hive).

Despite not being deployed for the Hive mission, Krait remains a valuable member of Fangs' team. Contrary to her boss, Krait does not need to throw heavy punches or raise her voice to make her presence known.

That partially has to do with the reason she was given her nickname in the first place...

The release is out and public by now, and I have yet to add a small patch to avoid taking Talia at the end of Lirah's questline head on, among other minor things. I have slowly started meddling with daz again after taking a break because the grass was in bad need of being touched, so the pictures above are some more rework previews for now.

Desert Stalker 0.16c

Hey everyone, it's been longer than usual but here's 0.16!

Now... where to start with this one... There was this cute guard from 10 updates ago or so, I'm sure you all remember her. It finally is her time to shine. She gets a full quest line in one update, a chunk of work comprising of over 500 images, animations and multiple quest steps.

I can finally say it: This is the final devlog before the Beta hits sometime next week.

There are only a few gaps left to fill and lines to add. I have been crunching for the past couple of weeks and it's all coming together during the next few days.

We are currently sitting at over 1,100 renders of new content (with a tiny bit more to come as I'm still adding missing expressions and stuff), including a number of NSFW scenes, a full side quest for Lirah that has 2 distinct paths, ...

I can finally start writing! Took some extra time, but I also worked on some small repeatables aside from the three big scenes, such as Emilia servicing the MC during dinner.

RenPy, Steam and other musings.

TL;DR: We probably have to migrate to a new RenPy version, poll link at the end.

As you may (or may not) know, we have been slowly gearing up for an eventual Steam release of Desert Stalker. While the actual release is probably a good few months away, there are a lot of things to be done beforehand and a fair bit of planning ahead.

The pavillon is a place where couples and friends come together to date. The city's servants make sure to prepare drinks, blankets and a warm fire for the night.

I reworked the light in this part twice because I had to brighten up the place. Do you think it's still too dark? And what do you think of Zahra's face being mostly dark? I usually have half the face lit up. I thought to try a bit more natural style of lighting for this scene though. Let me know what you think.
