I've been obsessed with Bridgerton on Netflix since Michaela turned me on to it and am so freaking happy to finally bring a script like this to life. It felt really inspired by the series, so it was especially fun to play pretend for the scene to unfold.

There weren't that many changes we had from initial concept on this one, but we did play around with the background and the sparkles, it was pretty fun. Milkie crushed the thumbnail too, I love the little decals in the corners to really bring that feeling of royalty and elegance. Love it!

This was the first time I used my new voice over equipment in a booth! Didn't realize my gain was low, but the sound quality feels SO much better than it normally does, hah! It was really fun to step into a god like role, to taunt and tease without stepping over too many lines.

Kiza nailed this so quickly, I loved the idea of the outfit, the low cut shirt and show of chest. The splash of red and eye makeup adds some REALLY good contrast too, but I think my favorite was the snarky, toothy grin. Though, I did ask the eyebrows be shaped a little more...teasingly as opposed to of ill-intent. I'm secretly hoping this one takes off well with you guys so we can do a part 2 and explore more ...

I think this one actually changed more than the thumbnail did, hah! Kiza and I both had some ideas for this, but ultimately I thought it'd be fun to shake up the positioning for both Shia and I, especially with the pose we went with. It took us a bit to nail the specifics for it, but I think Kiza really made something amazing with this!

Funny enough, Kiza and I were on the same page pretty fast from the initial sketch so there wasn't much else to edit or change as we went on. I think the biggest changes were like, hey add more color here, or more sweat there. Definitely feel like this one had a lot more playfulness between Shia and I, teasing each other in the dialogues and the banter with the viewer too. It's funny to see the difference, we all seemed less tense, and the writing more leaning into our strengths, it felt like we all really brought our A-Game and I'm especially proud of the work we did.

It was definitely fun to poke back and forth on things we wanted to improve, and we actually had to do some small retakes for some of the kissy and breathy sounds. Michaela definitely helped us get those right after our initial pass!

I was a lot more tongue tied on this one than I realized I would be, so I had to rework a couple of the phrases just to be safe. Still, turned out fun, and I'm excited to do more of these in the future as the story develops, and especially to see what the viewers pick for the first option.

We were a bit unsure where we wanted our hero to start out in this story, but we agreed some of the early sketches were a little young looking, especially with the shorts. So we opted for more of a simple outfit, a town boy leaving home for the first time with a generic sword and shield he probably could barely afford.
