Bit of progress on this one. Working on it here and there between comics.

Decided to change Saïx into his berserk mode, since in the manga it was in that state that he effectively killed Axel. Also to contrast Axel's peaceful "sleep" aaand to change up how I've drawn them at least a little bit.

The caption for this will be his line "Where is my heart", suggesting that Axel/Lea is his heart 8)

Unknown monster designs

So Vard is supposed to see how the elves see Inara and Mischief. They need to look monstrous and evil, at least to the elves, and their "active magicks" should be visible to the elves too. For example Inara has plenty of spellwork tattoos, but not seen by the naked eye like Mischief's.

Another older piece, if only to give you some content x) I chose this one because it's fairly simple so you can see the changes easily and making it included some messing about.

This whole bit is a confusing mess in my script haha! The pacing and order of everything is a liiiittle delicate, so I'm drawing a combo of two different scripts right now. Each page is a surprise, even to me.
