For the palm trees - I made one using the lasso tool + paint bucket and then created a work path > adjusted size > fill. That way the edges stay sharp when you mess with the size.

This was... meant as a quick warm up sketch to start the day. I have no self-control. But the new Image series Motor Crush is so inspiring I just kept going /D
It was a really nice exercise for coloring tho, I got really into trying out new things for me and playing with gradients and stuff.

I've saved huuundreds of reference pics for UL, for specific characters, nature, architecture, whatever. Sometimes I save them as actual reference pics to help me draw and/or design something and other times I save them to inspire me and get into the feel of a character or a scene or a place or just the entire comic.

This month's wallpaper is pretty essential to the whole comic's feel and something I already meant to do a year ago, so everyone is getting a (low-res) peek of it x)
