Something I forgot to mention in my former post and what's better visible in this screenshot, is that the deco slot direction is set to outside. In my opinion, it's fine this way as it's nicer to look at the front of a bear from outside then to it's back.
Of course just as with all other deco slots in game, you can rotate the object for if you do want to look at the front from inside. This might be used when placing picture frames or cooking decoration in the kitchen.

Hello everyone,
The first 3 windows have been 'slotted'. You might notice though that for the short version of this 'Angled Box' window, the texture seems to be broken. I have no idea if this is something which is happening in everyones game or just in some as I didn't see many other people talking about it. Just a few.
In the second image you'll see I've 'slotted' it anyway. Maybe if it gets fixed by EA, the slotted override will still work.

As the bone fish object has been released last week, it's time for something new!
This time it won't have anything to do with certain effects as something I noticed when looking through the Eco Lifestyle objects, was that the windows with the inside windowsills, didn't had the option to place decoration on top of it... why not?
So that's what I will be adding small and medium deco slots to all Eco Lifestyle windows with windowsill...

My last sneak peek for today!
I'm planning to include this lot/scene in my video too as the bone fish objects perfectly fits in this ocean/beach scene. In scenes like this one I won't use the eagle effect version, but the one that has the optional filthy vfx and maybe the uncomfortable mood.
I've also added a lot of my older mods to this scene which will all be linked in the showcase video description. Maybe it's also an idea to share the lot iself at some point, but I still have one...

Yesterday I mentioned I would add a second and third swatch, but after thinking about adding as much different possibilites as possible, I made 4 different swatches.
In the object catalog this will be shown as 4 colorstripes in the colors green, yellow, orange and red. Each of these swatches will all have another kind of tuning, which makes the recolor tool unusable in game for this object. So you need to decide in the catalog what object you want to use by selecting the desired swatch.

In the above image the 'eat fish' interaction for cats is shown. This will be an automatic interaction for cats as well as an optional interaction when using the Controllable Pets mod.
As the eating animation is copied from the fish pile, the head of the cat is floating a bit above the fish and small chunks of fish/scales will fall from it's mouth every now and then.

Here it is, the Custom Filthy Fish Buff which gives your Sims an uncomfortable mood when being near. When walking away from the bone fish, the uncomfortable mood will disappear too! 😀

While working on the Bonefish and it's cat interaction, I tested it in an older save file where these docks were part of the lot and where a cat was part of the household.
Looking at the docks I noticed that they had the problem of seeing other object's shadows right through them. As I might want to use this lot in my video, I've decided to fix it right away.

The image above shows the custom buff icon I made for the bone fish after a Sim has come near AND after the additional visual effects have been switched on at least one time.
If you don't switch on the additional green smoke and flies, the uncomfortable mood won't appear either. This is for if you want to use the bone fish only for spawning the eagle up in the air and hide the object itself.

First of all, the new object is not going to release this week. There have been quite some days I wasn't home much and that will continu the upcoming days. So the bone fish with all attached visual effects will probably be released next friday.

I did some more today besides only adding the Eagle vfx, but I've spend quite some time doing tests with it.
First of all, right now it's flying way too low above the ground. It's easy to fix that, but for the other testing I did, it was more handy to keep it low for now.
The 'problem' it's having I discovered, and that isn't something I can fix, is that after it appears it will fly around until 6pm. Then it will disappear...for good. 😅 It might re-appear after a few in-game...

The Aurora mod has been finished and uploaded, so now it's time for a new idea.
As Sims 4 Studio hasn't been updated yet to support Eco Lifestyle mods, I need to take a look at one of my older ideas.

Animated - Mysterious Polaroid - Aurora
With the Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack, Auroras became part of our Sims worlds.
For this mod though, you only need the Base Game and you can decide for yourself where you want them to appear. This can even be on vacation- or hidden lots if you want!

As I mentioned yesterday, I still had an idea for the Mysterious Polaroid to make it even more mysterious. The outcome can be seen by switching between the first and second image.
First of all, I've placed a fern and a Sim besides the polaroid, so the size can be seen a bit better. On this first screenshot you see how this object looks at daylight. Not very special..

On the first image you see what I've come up with as object to spawn the Aurora.
I first named it Aurora Borealis, but that seems to be wrong as it isn't a Northern Light. Especially now you can place it every where you want to.

Hello all,
I've finally got my hands on the new vfx codes that came with the Eco Lifestyle pack.
As the entire list of vfx codes used in The Sims 4 gets longer each time a new pack gets released and especially when that new pack is an Expansion Pack, the time it takes to only get the newly added vfx codes takes a lot longer then before!
I do have a separate list now with only the Eco Lifestyle VFX codes and I can tell you there are 887 new codes! Not all of them can be used for...

My email was fully spammed with people asking for access to the download link of the butterflies mod. (This is probably all automaticaly though, but I really thought what is this!?!?)
Turned out that there was an odd setting active which made only selected people to have access. As there were no selected people, no one could download my mod. So my apologies for that.

Last update about the butterflies that will be released upcoming friday!
In the images above, the thought balloons can be seen which will appear at the beginning of the view-interaction.

I haven't talked about what my new project will be for the simple reason that I don't know this yet. I have plenty of ideas gathered in lists, but it's still difficult to choose the right one sometimes.
