Sneak Peek Image - Columns Example

Right now I will start with editing this weeks mod video, but before I do I wanted to share this last week's sneak peek with you all.

On the left you can see how these columns will look in combination with walls. On the right I started the same as on the left, but deleted all walls and ceiling afterwards. A "building" like that can also be used in a large royal garden or something like that.

The end of the video will probably be this same shot, but then in motion with butterflies flying ...

Sneak Peek Image - All Columns

Where the former image showed all recolors all columns will get, this image will show all those columns that will be available in this pack.

Like you can see there are 6 columns to choose from. 4 of them are for using outside corners and the other 2 for using inside corners.
Although the smaller outside corner volumns are also perfect to use in between corners on your walls. In my video I will show you how this will look.

Sneak Peek Image - Columns Recolors

I had a lot to do non-Sims related the last 2 days, so that's why I didn't had any updates on the columns. 

But here is a new one where you can see the recolors that will be available for all columns. Like you can see they look a lot like the ones I also added to the Unlocked Ruins Pack.

I will also upload a Sneak Peek about all available columns in this pack right now. :)

Sneak Peek Image - Temple Columns

A first sneak peek image on how these columns can make a custom temple to look a bit better.

The 2 bigger columns on the corners and the 2 smaller ones near the temple gate are all part of this upcoming pack. As for the corner ones, these also include the same cap decoration as can be seen on the whole upper wall.

Just like the former pack, these will also have 4 recolors each which will be shown later, just as all included columns.

This week's plans

A new week, new plans, so new mods!

For this week I'm going to stay in the ruins  ambience, but this time more into the Temple direction. There are already a lot of objects in game which can help us making our own temples, but some objects that aren't buyable in buy-mode yet, are the temple columns.

These objets are highly needed if you want to make the corners of the temple look good too. Although they can also be used in the middle of a wall. Sneak peeks on how they all look, how ...

Unlocked Ruins - First Scene

You probably already saw it in the video, but this way you can easier compare it to the final scene after the game crashed.

Although I hated it when that happened, I'm very happy that my second attempt on making a jungle scene turned out even better. It only costed me a lot of extra time which I didn't really had... :P

Sneak Peek Image - Unlocked Ruins Pack

Here is the outcome of my second attempt, you didn't see the first one, but I can promise you it's MUCH better! I can upload the first attempt tomorrow too by the way, when I have more time.

Anyway, this will also be the video's thumbnail image as I really like how everything, included the animals are looking on this screenshot.

Sneak Peek Image - Ruins Decorated

This screenshot right here was made yesterday when testing out ways to decorate one of the items. I'm using that same way of decorating now with my second attempt on making a nice scene.. thinking about it, I better save it another time extra right now. :)

Maybe instead of another Sneak Peek with all items in this pack, I can share the scene when it's finished on which I'm working on right now, so you have a better idea of what's possible with this pack.

Something awful just happened!

Ok, so you might have encountered this problem as well sometimes.
Think about working your ass of something beautiful in The Sims 4. In my case something that's part of the final video which I was recording videos and taking screenshots for.. When all of a sudden The Sims 4 decides to stop working and you remembered that the last time you saved everything was BEFORE starting to build the awesome lot!

Sneak Peek Image - Ruins Pack - Recolors

In today's Sneak Peek Image, you see all available recolors that all 10 items of this Pack will get. These are the same that are also available for the Ruins Columns and Totem Poles that are already placeable in game.

Tomorrow I will most likely share all available items for this pack and a sneak peek showing how you can decorate the items using Jungle adventure's plants and some of my animated animals.

Some more info on my next mods

I already mentioned the idea of making an unlocked items pack and today I've tested out a few things.

First of all, this pack will consist of 10 items with 4 recolors each.
There won't be any deco slots placed on top of them as I couldn't get this to work and neither did someone else who was trying to help me.
So probably it's something about how these items were made in the first place by EA.

I'm still wondering if I should overwrite some of the already available ruins in game, so...

Plans for next mods

I probably know what I'm going to do for next mod and video release.
No animated objects this time, but an Unlocked items pack.

The idea was to make some sort of Unlocked Ruins Pack.
So unlock some of the ruin walls and columns to be able to make your own kind of temple buildings or use them for a museum for example.

Or just use them for making a larger ruin building.. :P
The first sneak peek images will probably come next week. I think tuesday as it's the  Pentecost...

New Mod / Video!

I just finished the video and everything else I need to finish before releasing a new video + mod, so I can finally release these butterflies in the afternoon!

I'm really happy about this myself, as I don't like to be "out of the community" for too long.

My next project will again take 2 weeks to finish I think, although I'm not really sure what I'm going to do next time. Have to take a look at my to-do-lists again. :)
More about that later!

Sneak Peek Image - Butterfly Groups

Sneak Peek Image - Butterfly Stamps

Ok, so I started to mod a bit for my upcoming release. (Not this week)
I already mentioned that my plans were to make the large group of Jungle butterflies to be placeable into our own worlds too and that I decided to make some sort of stamps for them too, instead of only making thme into invisible objects.

Broken Foot - Update !

Hello all,

An update on my broken foot thingy. I went to the hospital again today where they made another photo. They said everything still looks as it's suppose to look, so the broken bone is still in the good place and such. They removed the plaster from last week and now I have some sort of "moon boot", I think in English it's called a "walking boot" which I have to wear for at least another 4 weeks.

The biggest advantage of this boot compared to the plaster is that I can remove it wh...

Week plans changed

Ok, so in my last post which was visible for the $3 Tier, I mentioned about my foot that hurt after I sprained it last weekend.
Because of the pain that didn't go away, I went to see the doctor yesterday, just to be sure.

Turns out it's broken and so they had to wrap it into plaster. :(
So right now I'm sitting in a wheelchair behind my pc and I can't be sitting here any longer with my foot down as it doesn't feels very nice.

So I'm going to skip making a mod for this week and I'm ...

Sneak Peek Image - Animated Milk Snake

So this is the second snake that comes with this Animated - Placeable Reptiles - Snakes mod!

This Milk Snake is a bit smaller then the Python, but will be better visible because of it's bright colors. Although, I say it will be better visible, but I haven't seen this one at all in Selvadorado. But maybe some of you will know where to normally find it?

Sneak Peek Image - Animated Python

Hello all!

Here's the first of the two animated snake species that will be part of this week's mod, the python.

Like all other animated animal effects lately, this one is also part of the Jungle Adventure Game Pack, but will also be useable for people only having the Base Game.

This python can normally be found in the jungle locations in Selvadorada.

Also enjoying the warm weather? At least here in The Netherlands the weather is very good at the moment, don't know anything about that at your places ;)

About next week's mod. First of all it will be released one day earlier then normal as I will be gone for the whole weekend starting at friday.

Sneak Peek Image - Slotted Sign

Like mentioned in yesterday's post, beside the Animated Toucan I will once again add another Bonus mod too. 

In this case it's the "Welcome to the Jungle" Basecamp Sign on which I added 5 small deco slots. In my video that will be released this friday, I will show you multiple examples on how to use these in combination with all my Placeable Birds mods which I made so far.

Later this week I will also make a Sneak Peek video where I placed the Animated Toucan on one of the deco slots...

Last placeable Jungle Bird!

There is only one bird left from the Jungle Adventure Game pack, which is the Channel-billed Toucan.  Or at least, that's the only one left that just sits still on one place.

So for this week that will be my main mod. As only the toucan isn't that much to share with you all, I'm also going to add some slots to the "Welcome to the Jungle" Basecamp sign as a bonus item, only downloadable by clicking the link in the YouTube video description.
