The birch on the left is an unlocked tree. The right one is a recolor I made myself using another white birch texture which is already in game. As here in my country we mainly see the white birches, I just had to make this second swatch too.

In the next couple of posts, I will be showing you a few unlocked plants and trees I'm working on right now. In the above images you see the Aloë Vera which can be found in Chestnut Ridge, but isn't available in Build mode.
On the second image you see the Agave plants on the left, which look the most like the Aloë Vera and came with the Jungle Adventures Game Pack. These plants are already available in build mod. I like the look of the Aloë Vera more though. :)

As you may have noticed I haven't posted any updates on the WIP of unlocking the plants and trees from the Horse Ranch EP. The main reason is because as always, it's more work then I expected it to be. Unlocking them is quite simple, but adding the correct tags and fixing footprints isn't as easy as I wanted it to be. Besides that, I also like to add more recolors when needed and make them to be placeable near other objects without having to use the MOO cheat.

Hello everyone,
There were a lot of people asking for more Fish Packs after my first pack containing 12 Base Game fish. The thing with the first pack though, was that although the fish came from the Base Game, you still needed the Get Famous pack as I used tuning from that pack.
This time though, with the help of the wonderful RAVASHEEN, I was able to make all Base Game fish Base Game compatible. For the other fish, you will still need the packs they came from.

I've decided that my next project will be about unlocking plants and trees which are visible in Chestnut Ridge, but can't be found in Build mode.
Besides simply unlocking them, I will also fix footprints and add recolors and deco slots for the objects I think it's useful for. I've finally finished looking through all new vfx that came with the new Horse Ranch EP and there're a few that can be made into new placeable vfx mods, both animals as more weather-ish mods.
Something else I might want to make is an unlocked pack with either flowers, trees, statues or something else which can be found in Chestnut Ridge, but can't be found in Build/Buy mode yet. As an extra I might make additional recolors and/or add deco slots if possible.

I've just exported all new vfx that came with the new Horse Ranch pack, and I'll have to say that some of them look quite interesting. I also need to mention that I haven't started the game once since I've downloaded the new pack, so I still need to see if I can find some of them in the new world or test them out with help of the vfx player.

Seagull Mods
No updates about the fish pack yet, as I'm working on a video about my former two mods about the more common Sims 4 seagulls and the Sulani seagulls.

So I've fixed all fish to have the required data in the packages...and...IT DOESN'T WORK! So, that's great..😒: When you place them in your mods folder and you don't have the required pack, they will STILL show up in game. But then without the textures. So basically, all changes were unnecessary😅.
I will keep it this way though as it can't do any harm either.

Fixed Armored Catfish textures
Something I discovered while making the screenshot above, was that I've added the normal Catfish texture, to both the floor decal as the game catalog of the Armored Catfish. This has now been fixed.

I was already afraid that this would happen. Even though the fish floor decals are now placeable and working with only having the Base Game installed, the textures from the fish that came with additional packs are missing.
This doesn't mean I did this all for nothing. First of all, the first pack of fish which I've released in 2019, all came from the Base Game. Back then you still needed the Get Famous EP to make the fish to appear though, because of the tuning I used back then.

I think everything works as it should, but I still want to make a few sneak peeks of all fish together and test if everything works with only having the Base Game or that you will still need the packs where the fish came from. I just noticed a small problem with the red and blue crawdads. When spawning a baby version of those, it turns out they are exact the same size as the adult ones, but hovering a bit in mid-air.
To be clear, all baby fish are the small fishbowl versions of the fish. The adult versions are the ones you normally put in the bigger aquaria.
So as the single baby fish uses the same spawn-point as the single adult fish, I can't lower it's spawn-point. On the other hand, as in case of the...

Something I haven't really showed, is a good look at the floor decals. So that's what you see on the first image. Though now I think about it, it would have been better to switch the vfx off as this is also an option 😅.

I've already shared the game catalog images last week, but haven't showed the animated fish and floor decals in game yet as they weren't fully tested yet.
But instead of only showing you the default 3 fish spawning from a fish floor decal, I thought that showing just the single fish option might makes the fish itself more visible. Of course these fish are exactly the same as the ones in game, but maybe you've never seen some of them before.

I've worked on adding more fish to the fish pack and despite they're not fully tested yet, I wanted to already share with you that I'm almost finished making versions for each Base Game fish, which are 25 fish species in total.
So besides the ones I already made for my first Fish Pack, these are the 13 new ones I've finished/ I'm working on right now:

Something I already planned to do for a long time, was creating Patreon Tier Images to make everything to look a bit better visually on my membership page.
Now as you are already my patrons, it doesn't really matter, but I hope this will give potential new patrons an extra push by seeing what can be done with my mods in game.
In this case they also match very well with my banner, but I might make some other ones in the future too, so I can switch them occasionally.
