Traditional Badges WIP
A Badge I picked up at FWA. I'm working on a few Color Pencil badges so I haven't had a lot of digital work examples lately!
I've really been enjoying working with traditional media. I forgot how much fun it was. :)

I always wanted to be a Girl Scout when I was younger but I was a super shy kid growing up and my mom was very protective of us. She wouldn't let us go to afterschool projects or join clubs until I was in highschool.

I'm really glad I was commissioned with this idea because I absolutely adore carousels. Everytime Kiama and I go to a theme park and there is one, I have to ride it. There is just something so magical about the riding those beautifully painted horses with the old timey music playing in the background. <3

Recently I've seen people talk about the "right way" to draw rabbits. I don't know why it's always a controversy to people. One of the great things about being an artist is that you can create your idea of beauty and share it with others. Not everyone will like your art and that's ok. We're all different and that's what makes us all special. If we all created the same look we would lose what makes our art so uniquely ours.
Don't let anyone tell you you have to conform to their view...
