As punishment, he is transformed into a gold statue to be placed in the King's possession along with the other wannabe thieves who thought stealing from King Midas would be a good idea. When they said that the king's treasure was 'worth your weight in gold,' Flynn didn't think they meant it literally.

It's Percy's birth month, so I usually celebrate by putting him in some naughty situation.

I really did like the effects used in the TV show but it's not easy to replicate that effect and the golden throne was quite exquisite though i did have to guess much of the designs.

So here he is later in his young adult life tricked into sitting back on the throne and becoming one with it.
