There's a brilliant English actress I've long admired, and thought for as long as I've watched her, and since Rebels has been out, she would be perfect for portraying a live action Hera Syndulla. Reflecting on my 12 a Week Challenge

It's been a week already?

As of the time of writing, 1 week and 30 minutes ago, I set myself a challenge to see if I could draw 12 artworks in one week. It stemmed from thinking back to 2016, when I barely did any art, and decided to challenge myself and draw 12 artworks a year, succeeding with 24. 

Reflecting upon it, now being so productive, I realised I could probably achieve 12 artworks in 1 week, and set about trying to do that. There's just factors one needs to consider...

This was a fun one, been a while since I drew the redhead of the Starks. I dunno but I reached a point in shading Sansa I thought hey, this shading and the colours looks a bit like a Shabby Blue picture!

Maybe I should just use that already...

One commission of (older) MCU Kamala riding high and dr-wait, no, not dry, very wet I'd say.

Moist even.

Took a few goes with the colouring, like I couldn't get the tone of her skin quite right in the shades of purple lighting I wanted to go for. These things take time.

A while after the events of TROS or TRotF, Rey decided to give herself a buzzcut, and bleach it blonde. It didn't last too long, but Finn made sure he made the most out of appreciating it.

A twist upon my last pic, featuring the red Jedi Master herself, Shaak Ti. 

I expanded upon what I did with my last Shaak Ti piece, the white parts of her skin, and looking at her in RotS you can see her chest, sort of following the pattern of her ribcage, is all white, as are the hands. We might have to wait another week to see her, but here's the Senator for Chandrila in all her glory. Mothma is peculiar, her role is small in Return of the Jedi, but important, hints at a greater story happening just off camera. As of now, that actress is still alive and well, and absolutely gorgeous in some of those 60s movies so it is my intention to draw that version some time too.
