Matt Smith's final episode of Doctor Who was also the 2013 Christmas Special, it followed on from a highlight that was the 50th Anniversary special, and plunged into some dark strangeness, and that's not even mentioning the naked church, hologram clothing, and naked cuddling in the snow. I was talking about Clara's dad inexplicably changing appearance like a Time Lord, the secret of the Silence, and Eleven's 700 year or so sacrifice.

Doctor Who Christmas Day 8 - Jenny and Vastra, The Snowmen

The Snowmen was the first Christmas special to feature Clara, and she seemed the most obvious candidate for Day 8, however as a mild spoiler for pictures to come, and for future viewers of this series, it's quite evident that Clara is featured rather a lot in this series, so I wanted something different. And I'll admit I could only think of Liz White's maid and the Ice Governess as potential subjects,  Jenny and Vastra slipped my mind.

Who saw this one coming? :) it took me a while to decide who to draw for this, the first possibility was Madge, as Lily was too young and I didn't fancy drawing Karen Gillan again, I mean...so, the Wooden Queen and King of the magical forest banging. With sap semen.

Hugh Burke was right. Abigail the opera singer played by Katherine Jenkins, the Welsh lyric mezzo-soprano singer and songwriter. I cut this picture a bit short after the drama with my absolutely munted USB stick, but here we go. Day 7 coming in a few hours.

My USB from the last few months has been damaged beyond repair. Every page of The Trade, every artwork from Daenerys, reference images and more personal images and files have all been lost for good. There’s going to be a break in posting for a day or two while I sort everything out, so no picture today, two tomorrow maybe, or three in a few days time.

Doctor Who Christmas Day 5 - Addams the Vinvocci, SHIMMER!

Addams the Vinvocci alien from The End of Time part 1 and 2, the 2009 Christmas/New Year specials, the final in David Tennant's run as the Tenth Doctor.  I wanted some variety in these pieces, and a cactus lady (That's racist!) delivered just that. I decided while drawing it I'd make it into a gif to show off both her looks, as the original would have been a bit dull.

Doctor Who Christmas Day 1 - Rose Tyler, The Christmas Invasion

Day one of the Thirteen Day Doctor Who Christmas Celebration begins with this tribute to the first Doctor Who Christmas special, The Christmas Invasion. Perhaps post Sycorax fight, Rose chills a bit (lol chill, snow) and maybe invites the Doctor into bed.

Jyn Erso Riding Hard

Extreme exhibitionism from Miss Erso above the battle of Scarif. I was somewhat inspired by the work of Erotibot, whose artworks are filled with extreme situations, and with The Last Jedi around the corner, I felt it was time to finally explore Jyn and the Rogue One film, which I quite liked. So what if you did, or didn't, or rather enjoyed Phantom Menace or hate The Force Awakens, your opinion is just an opinion, and not fact.

Disappointment

This is a preview of the next non-Rey image, a labour of love I worked on and off for about 10 hours today, only for the file to corrupt as I was exporting it, deleting half of the layer's contents for the top few layers, meaning I'll need another two hours to redraw, recolour and retexture this piece. This is annoying, the say the least, and a sign I desperately need newer equipment. A similar kind of glitch affected a Doctor Who Peri drawing the same way.
