Sometimes as I'm editing Horimiya and not focused on simply reacting to it, I really notice how this show so implicitly tells the story of trauma through normal interactions that if someone weren't to read deeply into, would never really uncover how deep the messaging actually is behind what is happening. ...

ahhhhhhh Muichiro's backstory is killing me, man... This episode broke my heart. Seeing how he and his brother processed the grief completely differently especially as kids when they don't have the emotional tools to communicate how they feel breaks my heart. Muichiro had to go a whole year of silent grief alone thinking his brother hated him, when in reality he loved him so much but he was scared of losing him too...
But then seeing his brother just laying there after the attack ...

eeep the beginning of this episode had me in my depression era fr. It's just very painful seeing Miyamura's suspected self-harm tendencies be true... Then we saw Remi's true colors and love story with her boyfriend. It made me find a lot of love for her, which is so wild since I was her number-one hater earlier in the show. It goes to show how well made this show is, and how well they portray their side characters beautifully!

THIS WAS SO CUTE. Bocchi literally orchestrated a whole event for her friends to attend to make sure it was perfect for them 😭 she's such a cute angel. I have to say though, the art direction in the show when Bocchi goes into her little moments? 10/10 content. Adore it and love it.

HOLYYYY THIS ONE KINDA GOT TO ME DUDE, seeing Bocchi show her talent, even if its not for herself yet, for others, shows how kind she really is. I hope that by getting comfortable doing it for others, she can learn to do it for herself. Also, Ryo and Nijika seem to have noticed the little shift in talent. eoitghortigh At the beginning of this episode I was worried that Ryo was showing some sense of dissatisfaction with the current band that she's in with everyone, but I'm happy that wasn't the case. more so, the fear of them losing who they are and what they stand for as they chase after becoming more band like.
