Jenn

This water was pretty cold as you can tell.  I was standing in it, and after my feet got numb, it wasn't too bad.  Jenn was lying in it, and after she got numb, it wasn't too bad :-))

Jenn

Continuing with my Jenn in the Rockies theme.  This series was taken last year about a half hour from my house.  Jenn and I spent the day together shooting in and around the Tetons and Bridger Teton Forest.  She is an excellent model and very fun to shoot with and fearless.   

Jenn

Just a little bonus from last year about this time.  Jenn came and stayed overnight at the house and we went out and got some photos in.  She was on her way to a workshop down in Saratoga, Wyoming.  The day was great even it it was a little windy.  It kept the bugs down. Jenn is an excellent model and pretty fearless.  The rocks she was lying on were rough and she had to be careful not to get scratched.

Dakota

As you can tell, we shot these three photos at about the same place in Redstone.  Dakota went through several poses while I snapped away.  These were taken at the beginning of the shoot and I knew that it was going to be a good day.  We traveled to three more locations that day.  I had booked her for the day.  This and the cement plant were her favorites.  And the small out-of-the-way restaurant where she could order the loaded baked potato were her favorite spot...

Dakota

Another from our shoot last year.  Dakota is an east-coast based model but travels out to Nevada around her birthday each year.  That's how I originally met her.  She's relatively tall which is a plus in my book since I don't have to stoop to get good photos of her.

Dakota

A few of Dakota from last year.  She's had Covid this year and is still recovering.  Based on her FB posts and direct communication, she has her good days and bad days.  She has asthma and that doesn't help any.  These were taken last year BC (Before Covid) when she was feeling better.  She and I have a two day shoot planned for early October with her and Floofie.  Hopefully it will happen.  We'll see.

Utah Beauties

The three lovely and talented women that I got to shoot with all last week.  From left to right, Meghan, Melia, and Anoush.  Yes I am a lucky man.

Meghan

As you might be able to tell, I loved shooting with this woman.  We got some great photos.

Meghan

Here's another of Meghan.  I was doing portraits of Anoush and Melia, and Meghan wanted to get in on the action.  I'm glad she did.  This photo was taken just before sunset at this location and I think the light was just perfect to showcase Meghan's beauty.

Meghan

Meghan was an absolute joy to shoot with as were the other two models.  She is of course beautiful and an extremely talented artist.  She studied each location.  

Ziva

This was shot before the Covid shutdown in Nevada.  Ziva is an extremely eager and talented young model.  I love shooting with her because of her expressiveness.  Being beautiful doesn't hurt anything as well :-)  Ziva brought along her friend Daisy, who was getting ready as Ziva and I shot this initial series.

Sienna

On the other hand, there's Sienna.  This was a tethered shoot as well with Sienna in Florida, same as Taylor.  Sienna and I had a few technical issues, but the shoot went very smooth and Sienna and I got a lot of great photos.  It was hot and humid outside so we had to move all of her equipment inside,  because her computer was overheating in the sun.  This was one of our last shots outside on this day.

Taylor

As I said with my first post from this shoot, Taylor wasn't prepared for it.  I'm a little disappointed in the results, because she is a much prettier woman than these photos illustrate.  It was a tethered shoot so she was setting up the studio and I was triggering the shutter.   It didn't work out as well as I would have hoped.

Helen

Let's get the day started with this beautiful model.  Helen and I shot for a couple of hours in her vintage travel trailer.  She is currently on tour but the resurgence in Corona cases is causing her to frequently change her plans.  She was headed to the northeast, but the quarantine orders along the east coast stopped that.  You guys in the northeast should seriously write your governors.  As you can see, it was a little nippy when we shot this, and because it was ra...

Stripes

This was shot in Sienna's bedroom in Florida by me in Wyoming.  Many models are experimenting with this now that they can't travel.  Sienna was on of the first that contacted me.  I'm glad she did, but I don't know about the tethering thing.  It seems a little impersonal to me.  I enjoy the in person interaction with the model during a shoot.  Nonetheless, Sienna and I got some great photos.  

Sienna

Sienna is one of the models in Utah this week along with Vivian and Viribus.  I've worked with them all at various times.  Vivian was joking with me earlier in the week that we needed to shoot in Utah to make it six states that we've shot in.  Of course I agreed with her.  Getting back to this shot with Sienna.  We were tethered through her computer.  She was in Florida and I was in Wyoming.  Sienna is an extremely beautiful young lady and has turned into a ...

Bonus Post - Zoi

Another shot of this extremely beautiful woman coming to you from her home studio in the Netherlands.  We shot this via her computer tethered to her camera controlled by me in Wyoming.  I would not have had the opportunity to work with her if it weren't for the Corona Virus.  

Meghan

I would describe Meghan as a free spirited hippy chick, and not in a bad way.  I really liked working with her.    

Anoush

On the first day after arriving, we packed up and headed out to the Bonneville Salt Flats.  For those of you that have never been, it's flat and yes this is where they set the land speed records.  On this afternoon a day or so after a rainstorm it was a little wet.  The salt flats are usually damp, but not wet.  It's flat as far as you can see and there is a little traffic.  One truck went by and stopped a little ways off to ogle the models but they didn't mind.  ...

Melia

This was my first shoot with this very beautiful and enthusiastic model.  She told me she loves to be nude in nature and this is her favorite genre to shoot.  She does lifestyle and fashion but always returns to nude in nature for the calming effect it has on her.  She also relayed that her mother photographed one of her nude shoots.  

BTS

A little "behind" the scenes walking out to the location with Meghan, Anoush, and Melia.  The 6 days went too fast.  Another tour with different models starts this week, but I'm not there.  These ladies were one of the best groups I have ever worked with.  Oh and did you get my "behind" the scenes comment. :-)

Melia

And last but certainly not least is Melia.  She's a local woman and the youngest of the trio.  She quit her job to go full time modeling just before the virus thing hit so she hasn't been doing much, but with her enthusiasm and beauty that will change I'm sure.  We already are discussing when we might be able to shoot again.

Over the 6 days, we shot in excess of 2500 photos so expect to see lots more of these beautiful women. 

Anoush

Next up is Anoush.  She hails from New Zealand and in fact was in quarantine over there until recently.  It lasted 3.5 months.  She currently resides in Cleveland with her husband who she hasn't seen since she was quarantined in NZ.  An absolute joy to shoot with.  I've been trying to shoot with her for years, but we were never close enough to one another to make it work.  I'm glad we finally got the chance.

Meghan

First up is Meghan.  Meghan is from California, but is currently in Colorado.  Too much snow for her though so she's going back to California.  She was great to collaborate with.  She studied all the locations and we then put our heads together to come up with some interesting photography.  She's headed to Wyoming and I hope to work with her again.

New Stuff

I know I've been absent for a few days, but it was an epic 5 day shoot with these lovely ladies.  They're brand new (to me) models and they are great to work with.  From left to right Anoush, Melia, and Meghan,  Like I said I had a lot of shoot time with them, and I know you guys will enjoy the photos

Bree

From my first shoot with this woman.  It was a cloudy day and a bit chilly, but we made the most of it.  We ran into an elderly couple who said as long as they didn't have to get naked, it was fine for us to shoot.  Can you blame them? 

Dasha

One from this photoshoot a couple of years ago.  I'm headed to Utah tomorrow to spend several days with Dasha and three other models shooting around the state. Nine shoots in 4 days.  Stay tuned for more great stuff from these shoots.  Two of the three models I haven't shot with, including one local model.

Harley

I took this about 5 years ago.  Harley and I were just playing around with candle light.  There was no additional studio light except for some lights in the hallway behind me.  She had just learned she was pregnant and went on to have a healthy baby.  I've always wanted to work with her again but just never found time.  Maybe this year.

Queen Helen of Troy

Another from this shoot with the beautiful Helen.  It's amazing to me how photos make her look much older than she does in person.  She's just as beautiful IMHO.  This was shot in the cramped space of her vintage travel trailer and it was cold inside and out.  The light was from a Coleman lantern that we had propped up on her countertop and I like the warm lighting.  We persevered.

Zoi

As requested here's more of this wonderful model who resides in the Netherlands.  I've been using this time to connect with models whom I would otherwise not have shot with, Zoi being one of them.  She doesn't travel to the US and I haven't traveled to Europe.  Rest assured if I would travel to Europe, I would work with this beautiful woman.
