Here's a continuation of my session with Vivian. As I said, she and her boyfriend wanted to come out to Wyoming for a vacation. She and I planned this shoot around that. She's a professional dancer and has that long lean dancer's body, and she really is fun to be around. I like how the buckrail fence leads you into this photo and the beautiful woman that's the subject.

We spent a lot of time at the Shane Cabin shooting various poses including some with wardrobe. This is actually a dress that she pulled down around her waist.

I was introduced to Kay Jay by Lillias Wright. They were traveling through Nevada on their way to Utah and parts north. I posted some of those photos here. I contacted Kay Jay, who lived in Arizona and asked her if she would want to spend the day in the desert shooting with me. We started out in the shade before moving on to various spots at the location. I shot at this spot many times in the past, but each time you get a different photo.

We found this ledge which Kay Jay could lay on and we shot several photos from various angles. I don't believe I had found this ledge in all the times I've been to this location. That's what's so cool about it. You can go there forever and still find new spots to shoot in.

We walked on over to this location where you can see the highway in the background. One bus and several cars went by but didn't stop. It is a way off.

We shot for a while in this abandoned cement kiln. They're removing the bricks and demolishing the plant. It's really unfortunate.

We shot this series in April. Bailey is a fitness model and a great subject. We went out to Logandale Trails, a local park for off-road enthusiasts. I think Bailey would make anybody enthusiastic :-)

Bailey and I had been trying to set up a shoot for a few months. We originally had something scheduled for January but the weather just did not want to cooperate. We set and reset shoot dates over a 2 week period but it was too cold or rainy (Rainy in Nevada, who would of thunk). She finally had to return to Arizona, but vowed to return. Bailey and I worked from rock to rock between dodging the 4-wheelers and jeeps that came by. We were very close to the trail. I titled this photo and one other, "Like a Rock" in tribute to the 4 wheel drive vehicles that came zipping by without even seeing what we were doing.

We moved from the rocks to the hot spring where Olivia did a little posing on the dam between the hot hot springs and the cooler hot springs. The campers around the springs didn't mind a bit.

At the end of day 1 we stopped on the playa. It's really large and flat with cracked mud from one end to the other. It was quite crowded but we found a secluded spot (well not very secluded). You can see for miles. Some 4 wheelers came racing by at various times.
