I really like the wild vibe of this photo. Maria is really interacting with the camera. I can't say it's my favorite from the shoot but that's because I have so many favorites from this shoot.

We started at the dry lake bed. The last time she was in town we passed the lake bed up at the end of the day. We were both tired, but promised ourselves we would return.

As promised last week, I'm posting several shots from my shoot with Maria a couple of weeks ago. She was in town on vacation and asked me if I wanted to shoot. I of course agreed. I think you'll agree it was the right choice.

Next week, I'll post more of this beautiful woman, so stay tuned. Maria was in town for a vacation, and we shot a few out at the dry lake bed and the wet lake bed (Lake Mead) :-)) Maria slayed every shot IMHO. She wanted me to pick out 3 of my favorites, but there's just no way I can get my selection down to 3. You'll see why.
Like I said I'll temporarily halt the French Postcard theme and return to my nude in nature photos for just a bit. I'm not halting the Fren...

This one works a little better with the theme.

Stretching the limit of the imagination here, but I was wondering if it would work. Shot at Photo Bang Bang studio in their new set.

Continuing with the theme this week for a few more. I promise to change it up a little next week. Allie is posing on a Victorian Era couch in Arizona.

I know my posting is out of sequence, but I was extremely busy this past week. I'm sorry for the delay. I'm not sure I like her lingerie in this one, to modern looking. It might work better with just the shawl. What do you think?
That's it for now. I'll be back on schedule this upcoming Monday with a few more French Postcards and some great photos of Maria Cedar that we shot on Thursday. She also has a Patreon page. Stay tuned and as always thank you for following me.

Next up the beautiful St. Merrique. She has a Patreon Page as well. This was from a studio shoot we did back in January. I know I've posted some of the photos from that shoot without the heavy handed processing, but thought I would see what happened.

Another of Bree. I really like how these are turning out.

In keeping with the theme here are a few more. First up a friend of mine from NC, Bree Adams. We shot this series in Floofie's house in Portland.

Okay so this really is the last one for now and one of the best IMHO. Olive and the shawl. As some of you know, when Olive and I shoot together we always have done a series with a black shawl. I just absolutely love this picture of this very beautiful woman. What do you think?

Last one for now, but I'm really enjoying the way these turn out. I have many more with Allie, Floofie, Bree, Olive, and others so stay tuned. I would love to hear what you think about this concept and the particular photos. I'm also toying with putting sets of these for sale on my website. As always thanks for following me and I look forward to your comments. Tell a friend :-))

This was taken outside of course at a location located west of Portland. From left to right, Floofie, Bree, and Olive, three of my favorite models. This photo and the next were both taken outside and I wanted to see if I could reasonably emulate the French postcard look outside. Most that I've seen were taken inside.

Next up Glass Olive. This was also shot in Floofie's house. Floofie, Glass Olive and Bree were all involved in a group shoot.

Next up one of my favorite models, Floofie. we shot this and others right after she moved into her "new" house in Portland. The house was actually built in the early 1900's with horse tie down loops in the sidewalk in front of the house. Her interior furniture was more modern in some rooms, but I think it still worked.

Siver Efex II really mimics that early 20th century processing and look IMHO. The set included an original radiator heater, which weighed a ton, and an ornate mirror.

Allie's wardrobe matched the look and the set was perfect down to the old-timey hanging lights.

I've been processing some of my photos with a NIK Collection plug in (Silver Efex II) trying to mimic early 20th century French postcards. Allie and I shot in studio at Photo Bang Bang a while back using one of their sets which they've since taken down. These are the results of my efforts.

I like how the red rock colors her in this photo, and I like her pose. She is such a great subject and there will definitely be more of her. Thanks for following me and your comments.

I like the contrast between skin tone and rock in this one. I also like the leading lines created by the rock through Sekaa and the pose mirroring the holes in the rock.

Dancing in the desert. At least that's what I call this shot. I really like how her skin tone contrasts with the blue sky in this one.

I admit I like these shadow shots. I enjoy using the model's body as the canvas for the shadows. Some people find it distracting.

We shot this series a year ago in December when Adlee was visiting Nevada. We traveled out to Gold Butte which is southwest of Mesquite to shoot in the desert. December can be cool, but this day was great. Adlee has that teaser look in this photo so I thought I would lead off the set with it. I also converted it to black and white, which I'll post on social media. For whatever reason, sites like Facebook, allow more artistic license with black and white images.

I like how the cloth she's holding mirrors the shape of the red rock in this one. I also like how the wispy clouds lead you into the center of the photo and Adlee's shadow just visible in the lower left. Her hand placement and the pose also work well here. The wind was starting to blow a little at this point, so we could play with the fabric.

Here she's standing up with the bushes behind her. The green contrasts nicely with her skin, The leading lines of the rock are leading you into the model. The blue sky tends to pull you out of the photo, but the red rocks above her head lead you back to her. Her pose causes you to wonder what she could be looking at out of frame to the left.

This one doesn't have the green behind her like the last one but there's enough greenery in the photo. I like this one because it conveys she is basking in the sun. The bushes in the foreground tend to set the foreground and frame her beautifully.
