Monday Bonus

Here's a bonus post just to brighten your day if you're in a weather area of the country.  Kristy, Floofie, Olga, and I were on an ExplOregon Adventure Tour on the Oregon Coast.  This was taken on the last day of the tour.  It was a little chilly as you can see by the goosies on Floofie and Kristy.  The three of them had been posing individually, but got together on this day to shoot some of all of them.  I've worked with Kristy and Floofie quite a bit, but this was m...

Year In Review

Finishing up August, I was contacted by a model out of Montana who was on her way to Colorado for a workshop.  She and I had not worked together before, but I had seen some photos of her with my friend Vivian.  It turns out she's a professional dancer in San Jose, California during the mid-winter months and spends most f the summer in Montana where she was raised.  She told me she was heading through Idaho Falls and could spare a couple of hours if I wanted to meet up and go ou...

Bree

Here's a bonus post for you guys on this Thursday.  Bree came out to Nevada and stayed at our house.  She and I went out for a day trip in the desert and shot almost 600 photos.  These were taken in February 2017.  It was reasonably warm, not like this February has been temperature wise.  As you can see, Bree is a very lovely woman.  She came through this February and we had to shoot in studio since the weather was so cold and rainy.  Stay tuned for more fro...

Year In Review August

August was kind of an average month for photography.  I took a little break after July but still managed to shoot with some gorgeous women.  Shaylee (in the yellow dress) hails from Wyoming and put out a blast on social media that she really wanted to do a shoot.  She hadn't done one in a long time (since she had her baby).  I answered that I could be persuaded to meet up with her and shoot for a couple of hours.  We met about half way between her place and mine and s...

Year In Review July Part 2

Thank you for your patience.  We're going through some health issues so my weekly posting is a little sporadic, but I promise to keep up with them.  The second half of July was just as productive as the first half of July.  First up is Makayla.  Makayla is a petite redhead living in Miami and Turks and Caicos with her partner Martin.  Last year they announced their marriage which I don't think has happened yet.  Makayla's partner Martin is a high-end wedding phot...

Mischkah

I have to run a few errands this morning so my Year In Review post will be a little late, probably this afternoon.  I'll let this photo of Mischkah tide you over until then.  Mischkah and I have worked together remotely several times and she is a great model and as you can see a very beautiful woman.

Year In Review July Part 1

July started to pick up again as the Covid restrictions started to lift and models started traveling again.  First up was Meghan.  Meghan came to visit us in Jackson and we shot a full day up near the Tetons, around my house, and at a stream that flows by the house down the road.  Meghan is one of my favorite models.  She started living full time in Mexico but still travels to the states to visit her mom and family.  We first met on a UTadventure tour and have stayed ...

Year In Review - June

I had a busy June with 4 shoots during the month starting with another duo of Merrique-Floofie on the first of June.  Floofie had rented a great cabin in the woods for remote shooting, and I booked them the week following our shoot at her house.  It was a double trouble kind of month.  After shooting with Floofie and Merrique, Mischkah Scott contacted me and asked if I would shoot her and Ilvy Kokomo at a place she had booked in Europe.  I had not worked with Ilvy before a...

Bree

Bree and I go way back together several years.  She and I are shooting again this upcoming Monday so stay tuned.  This one was taken on the Oregon Coast when Bree, Floofie and Olive and I met up for three days worth of photography at various locations.  I hope you enjoy this bonus post.  My regularly scheduled posts are getting a little unregularly scheduled so thanks for bearing with me for a bit.

Year In Review May

I started off May with a brief shoot with Elle.  She and I go way back on remote shoots.  She used to do up to art nude, but then cut back to lingerie and fashion.  I consider her a friend and still shoot with her on occasion.  Next up was my monthly shoot with Merrique, followed by a shoot with Regina (my first shoot with this woman), and then followed up by a shoot with Merrique and Floofie at Floofie's house in Oregon in front of her rhododendron bush that looks like a ...

Year In Review April

April which is normally quite productive was a little lean last year.  I think it had something to do with coming out of covid so models weren't traveling as much.  I still managed to create some great images with Cheyenne, Floofie, Merrique, and Angel.  I met Cheyenne out at Redstone and we spent the day just wandering around enjoying the sun and snapping a few photos.  I love working with Cheyenne because she is such a happy outgoing woman and fearless when it comes to m...

Year In Review - March

So this post finishes up my March sessions and features Ziva, Ciara, Dane, and one of my favorite models Anoush.  I met the Red Bomb Model, aka Dane, on a ExplOregon tour in the Alvord Desert of eastern Oregon.  She is a giant of a model both in size (6 feet tall) and capability. I met Ciara through Dane.  Ziva and I go way back, and we shot this series at Photo Bang Bang here in Las Vegas.  Again, if you're in town and in need of a studio, Curtis is the man.  He migh...

Year In Review

I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year.  Don't celebrate too much.  Continuing with the Year In Review Theme, here's more of the shoots I had in March.  It seems like March was my busiest month, but I think that's only because of the number of shoots I had the last two weeks of March and the first two weeks of April.  I'm not quite finished with March yet.  In fact, I'll have another post from this month next week.  I worked with Naya (fro...

Year In Review March

March was also a very busy month shoot wise.  Jaecey and Marie came through town.  Riona and Veronika were photographed remotely.  That only gets us through the 11th of the month.  There were still a lot of models to go.  Many models were getting itchy feet and traveling both in Europe and the US.  I also had a shoot with a couple of Canadian models.  I hope you enjoy this first post.  There will be a couple of more highlighting my March so stay tuned. ...

Merrique Remote

So a lot of you ask about remotes and how it's done.  Merrique is an expert at it and we shoot at least once a month.  The first photo shows the setup for one of our sets during the February shoot.  Merrique is standing in front of her glass doors at her home.  You can see the single light we're working with to her right.  It's just a work LED with shutters to focus the light.  We also work with different lights depending on the setup, but this day it was just th...

Year In Review More February

February was a busy month last year for shoots.  A lot of models get bookings in February to make up for the lack of bookings during the holidays and start traveling again to the southwest.  Auroraa and Rusalochka Love traveled through my area and reached out and we shot during the last half of the month.  I had another shoot with  Donna (actually 2 since our internet crapped out during the first shoot), July (from Moscow), Scarlet, of course Merrique, and Zoi right before...

Mischkah

A Friday bonus for you all.  Mischkah and I shot this set a couple of days ago so you'll have to wait a while for more of her in December.  I think we'll have a little surprise from a shoot we did together mid-year

Thanks for all of your support this year.  I hope you're enjoying the show.

February - Part 1

February was a very busy month with in-person and remote shoots.  I shot with some fantastic women and models including Adlee, Rachelle, Elle, Vivian, and Helen.  They were all shot during the first half of the month.  Several more ladies were shot during the second half of the month.  I don't know what was up, but I'm not complaining.  Helen and I were after a Helmut Newton look.  Adlee and I shot out at a new location near where we live.  Rachelle contacte...

2022 In Review

And we're off.  We started the year yesterday with Merrique and here are the remaining models I shot with, both remotely and in person in January.  All of them were remote shoots.  We have Aurora, Donna, and Helen in January.  January is typically a slow month because of weather here and in Wyoming.  Aurora was in Amsterdam and Donna and Helen were both in England.  I've shot with both of them quite a bit, and both Helen and Donna are not doing any remote shoots ...

2022 Year In Review

So what better way to start the year in review?  My first shoot in 2022 was with the lovely St. Merrique.  As you all know she and I go way back together and are continuing to shoot together on a monthly basis until one of us runs out of ideas.  Fat chance of that happening.  She's also quite an accomplished short film maker.  Stay tuned for more from Merrique and all of the other models I shot with in 2022.

Cheyenne

Here's another posting of the fabulous Cheyenne at Photo Bang Bang (a studio in Las Vegas if you ever need one).  Cheyenne usually shoot outdoors, but it was a little cold outside on this day.  My mantra is, I'm from Wyoming, and if it's too cold for me to take my clothes off, I can't expect the model to.  Cheyenne was very grateful that we didn't try to shoot outside.  I'm sure she would have tried it though.  She's actually named after the city in Wyoming with the s...

Jolene

Jolene and I met up out at Redstone and shot this series in the late afternoon sun.  I really like working with this woman.  Not only is she beautiful, but she's fun to work with.  She's actually a pretty tough cookie.  She is the lingerie fighting league champion.  Shortly after concluding our shoot she was on her way to someone who had hired her to wrestle.  She admitted to me later that she had kicked his butt and didn't pull her punches, because he was a jerk...

Angel & Ashley

I shot with these two lovely women a month or so ago at Angel's home in England.  Of course it was a remote shoot. Angel and I have worked together several times with outstanding results.  She set very strict boundaries during our first shoot which I complied with of course, but gradually she has loosened up and gotten to trust me.  I don't know why photogs push boundaries.  It only makes it harder to gain trust and doesn't yield good photos IMHO.  This was my first t...

Ayla

Ayla and I shot these remotely last year from my home in Wyoming to her home in England. I just want to say I love remote shooting.  It gives you the opportunity to work with models you would otherwise not have the chance to work with.  I also have to say that the British models and to a certain extent the European models are much less expensive to hire.  I was speaking about this to an american model I work with a lot and she confirmed that as well.  She was saying Americ...

Triple V Tour this summer

I attended a photo tour this past summer over by Mono Lake and Bishop, California.  I was invited by Vivian Cove, a model I've shot with quite a few times and is very popular at the moment.  We were joined by Viribus Femina whom I've shot before in Utah and Venus De Tierra, a friend of Vivians, who I had not worked with before.  We spent 4 days at numerous locations shooting single and multiple models.  I shot literally over a thousand photos over the 4 days at 8 locations...

Wednesday Bonus with Dakota and Floofie

We met up out at Gold Butte and shot together just the three of us.  We had just gotten done with a group workshop with these two and 5 photographers so Dakota was a little bushed.  She was recovering from long haul covid.  We managed to spend about 6 hours out in the desert before Dakota was absolutely tuckered out.  She fell asleep on the way out and slept all the way to Vegas.  Nonetheless we created some great art.  Thanks for your support and stay tuned for ...
