The request was for Meva to play around with the forbidden book from Tentacle Academy (and lose control of it)! There are no magic academies in Meva's time, but if TA took place before Cummoner, the book could've survived for a couple hundred years.
Such magical items want to be found and want to be used.
A lot of Meva content lately, also in Requests. You guys sure like the little mage alchemist slash inventor!

You're gonna say: hey Totem, how come a foreign lifeform substance in the air hasn't triggered some sort of alarm or filtering mechanisms?
Let's just agree that it probably has and the crew underestimated it for some reason- maybe that's what Abe is checking in panel 3 here? An air purifier he thinks is faulty? What I mean to say is: the comic is going to feature some fucking and I don't have a novel's worth of space for scifi dialogue in it.

Welcome to Ad Asstra! A new, sci-fi porn comic that I really hope you guys will like.
