This was one of my favorites from August, I managed to get that soft lighting that I really like and makes the skin look so good. Plus I also like the simplicity of the colors, the purple + black combo is one of the easiest to work with since they just go so well together.

So as mentioned in the last post I really wanted to draw my au ra in a swimsuit. I love the highleg swimsuit look since it leaves the hips visible so of course I had to focus on that. 

Of course I also put a lot of attention into the breast physics as always, to give them that nice shape and weight I love, even if technically with swimsuits this isnt actually a realistic approach, but lets just assume its an incredibly skin-tight fabric (anime physics, yay).

Didnt have any proper back pic of her yet so we decided to take care of that, plus adding some tan lines matching the swimsuit she was wearing in the last one. Its actually something I hadnt done before, but its very easy to do and they add a lot of detail to it, so Im glad we did it.

I was asked to do something similar to "Luli" for this one, but I went with a brighter look instead because I really like the combo of red and white.

Lately I always seem to feel more comfortable with brighter scenes, which is interesting because it used to be that way with darker ones. Sticky Situation

Reminiscence

This was one I did during that slump in July, so I just wanted to do something easy that I knew Id enjoy, without any expectations or anything. Basically just get something done.

Havent posted a pregnancy pic in a while so here is the last one I did.

I like how cute and innocent this one looks. Despite the character being half naked it doesnt feel "sexual" at all. This is especially important for themes like pregnancy since they tend to get fetishized a lot and I hate that. Its much better when you make it just another part of the scene, like everything else.

Another of those outdoors bath scenes but this time seen from above, so that changes it up a bit.

I wasnt sure if I wanted to go for warm or cold colors here, but I always feel more comfortable doing sakura petals and I love the way pink and blue combined so yeah. Plus Xaela having blue scales as well (although I like giving them more of a dark purple/black look, but its up to interpretation).

Was commissioned to do another MGE girl in June, one which barely had any art and I really like her so I was immediately interested.

I love this one since the general look came out exactly how I wanted, with a very tribal feel to it. And the warm tones really fit the character.

I dont do highlanders often but I really like how this one turned out.

I wanted it to have that that steamy bath/sauna look, it adds to the sensual vibe of the whole scene.

Also included another of the Asha drawings and one of a miqo'te that I think has a similar vibe to this, so if you like one youll like the other as well.

Dreamscape

So I have mixed feelings about this one.

I actually started it before the last one I posted of her (Vanity), but it was pretty ambitious so I decided to take my time with the sketch, and then I eventually realized I just didnt have the patience to do the full idea I had in mind, so I just threw away the background and went with this instead.

Originally it was supposed to be one of those "gamer" pics with her in a room full of gaming references with posters/figures etc, but what happened ...

Been looking forward to posting this one since its one of my favorites and I love how it turned out. The composition and angle in particular, which are really unique compared to the stuff I usually do and work so well with the top left and bottom right corner dynamic.
