Just wanted to give an update for all our Patrons! Thanks for your continued support and I'm very excited to share some behind the scenes with you.
We've got some sketched CGs below but we're also holding back on finalized pieces of CG work with Lily & Tara. Wouldn't want to spoil anything major ;)

This is actually the third iteration of the website, I just felt like each time we could do better. I like this version the most, it shows off the characters and colors, while also giving a quick video if they want to see gameplay.
The website is pretty necessary as it will tie together all our info and give an official home to the game project.
I'll try to post more this week with behind the scenes stuff!

Thanks again to our lovely patrons <3 Sorry the public and hotfix took a little longer this time. I was dealing with traveling out of the office & also the resolution fix deals with shaders and other complex pieces I needed to recruit some expertise.

Save Files built to Last
Your old save files should work this time around if they're from 0.4.0. Even though some of the story structure has changed, you should find that it works with your old save files, and ideally continues to moving forward!

We have the animated CGs for next build, art, story, coding and everything else but the last bottleneck is scripting our scenes. There's 24 new scenes for the next build with some scripts having just a few dozen lines but some having over 100 lines. I decided to take a moment to reflect on how we can improve the scripting experience for myself and our scripters.

I'm taking this week to finalize Lily & Tara, thanks so much for being patient with us. I'm not sure why I'm making hard deadlines again 😶 but I assure you I'm on this 24/7 right now to finish up the 0.5 build. There are many many scenes with many lines so we're doing our best to get it presentable.

Heya,
So March has been an incredibly busy month for me but I'm still doing everything I can to get the game out this month. I know I promised a hard date around now, so I'm going to say March 31st as the official date for Life in Woodchester 0.4.0 for our lovely patrons.
Again, in a perfect world I could dedicate my time fully to the project but we're not quite at a high enough income. Still have my other jobs to do to stay afloat. Thanks so much for your pledges...

A few people have been asking about the progress, there's a lot of new scenes to knock out but we've also been hiring more scripters to help out. I think at the end of February I can access the remaining tasks and give you a hard deadline.

In case you missed our last post we just released 0.4.0 which is available to all patrons. Thanks so much for making this game possible!!
As we being a new year, I wanted to lay out some plans that will help us achieve more content, patronage and awareness.

Build Notes
YOUR OLD SAVE FILES WILL NOT WORK THIS TIME. Saving and loading has been converted to a much more friendly .ini file format. This means anyone can edit their save files if they ever have issues or want to fast forward previously viewed content. Also will improve future backwards compatibility for new builds since we can introduce new variables, conditions and such.

Of course something always goes wrong right before release.. Just my luck. Thought I'd share what I fixed and a few things left:
- Saving & Loading is on a new .ini file format so that has been properly fixed and integrated.
- Had a compile issue with duplicate resources
- No more Hovering Janice when she's sleeping
- Dialogue tweaks
Tomorrow I have more on my list but I promise I'm knocking them down for ya'll to enjoy properly.

Basically we're waiting on the Interactive Janice BJ scene from one of the Devs, however I wont be idling during the weekend or week either, we are continuing to add to Janice's Story. We have up to 10-2 finished, which is about 12 new scenes total, some are a dozen lines, others are over 100 lines. I promise the 1 week wait will be worth it!

A few people have asked about an ETA for the next update, it's looking like Dec 25th, will keep everyone posted. It will be for Patrons that are VIP or Higher, then after a week, all patrons, and the following week public. If you're a basic patron who has supported for over 5 months (5$) we can get you access to the build.

For those curious about the next update, we're looking at early-mid Dec. It will be primarily Janice focused with a bit of Lily. Tara's update will need more characters to help move forward with the initial storyline.

Thanks for voting! The winner was more lewd but I do want to explain a little bit for those worried about the story. By no means are we stopping the story in fact we're continuing it and just doing lewd content a bit early, instead you can just expect some lewd elements to arrive early like Janice HJ & BJ scenes when in the final you might just be at the HJ stage.
We plan on weaving in the story elements that lead you from say HJ to BJ to etc as we release new builds.

Heya! Hope you enjoy the new build recently posted. I have some hotfixes and new graphic settings for more of the mid-low range phones or older computers. It's important to me that everyone can play regardless of their device.
If you had troubles with previous builds please try the new build and then trying some of the new video settings.

Sorry for the long wait but I learned a lot about what you guys want (quicker bursts of content, not waiting longer) and I also need to communicate better with you guys when I'm having issues or whatnot.

Thought I'd give an update, we're 90% done with the final tasks being editing and scripting of certain events. As I'm sure you're aware, every scene has to have not only facial changes but character movements and poses as well. Some scenes are over 60 lines so a lot goes into minor movements.
We have new clothing (bikinis) for Tara & Lily, New CGs for All 3 characters, 15+ new scenes, new items, key locked doors, new particle system for dialogue, a lot is packed into the new update....
