To apply the update, unzip the folder, copy the two files to your "game" folder, and then overwrite/replace the old ones.

Part 2 of Vanessa's update will be ready within the next 24 hours, but as I know some people play primarily during the weekend I've cut it to just before dinner as I did with Bimbo Steph's so you can start playing it now and then you'll be able to roll straight into v.0.13.4 which will be Vanessa's evening when it is out tonight/tomorrow.

I'm putting these up now just so that everybody has a few days to cast their vote and nobody loses votes if they change tiers or anything before these are made.

As I've been saying on Discord (join Discord for all the latest news), unfortunately I'm still having problems with v.0.13.

They're not problems with bugs and stuff like usually happens, it is problems where I'm playing through it and saying "this needs a couple of extra renders", "this needs a couple of renders", how's the MC getting from A to B, he's teleporting and we need a new scene, and whereas usually I can just cram that in during the last week, this update is o...

DLC v.0.13 further delayed until the weekend (Saturday)

Hello everybody,

I'm really sorry, I am going to have to slightly further delay v.0.13 until the weekend.

There aren't any additional issues, the problem is creating the renders for the scene I'm trying to extend. 

I tried to make the restaurant feel "lively" and full of people (picture above), however unfortunately in doing so I made it so the scene requires 20GB of VRAM to render. What that basically means is 3 out of 4 of my machines cannot handle this scene, two of ...

Short Delay (Three Days) to v.0.13 to 18th May. (Sorry! :/)

Unfortunately I am going to have to announce a very short delay to v.0.13 to give myself an extra couple of days to make some more renders for a scene nearly all the Alpha Testers have complained is too short.

Everything was going really well for this update, however I've now had feedback from my 4 Alpha Testers and 3 of them, without consulting each other because they don't know who the others are, have all mentioned and complained that one particular scene which...

Defending Lydia Collier v.0.12.2 Release

Hello all!

Firstly, to avoid confusion, this is not the v.0.13 release of Defending Lydia Collier.

This is a "Pre-Patch" that adds in most of the missing content in terms of the computer and Sophie's tablet to v.0.12.1 where it was missing, but it does not advance the game, it instead sets the game up to be ready to roll straight into v.0.13 next weekend.

I can happily announce Defending Lydia Collier v.0.13 will definitely now be over 5,000 renders in size plus a couple of animations, and everything is on track for the planned release date!

In the next few days there will be a small update, Defending Lydia Collier v.0.12.2, which will fix a couple of things from v.0.12.1 to make that day complete and ready to roll straight into v.0.13. It won't contain any new content, apart from from text only change...

Defending Lydia Collier v.0.13 Progress Update

Hello all!

With the release day now set for the 15th of May the percentages are fairly irrelevant now, however I have now passed the 4,000 render mark for v.0.13.

With the scenes still planned I'm expecting v.0.13 therefore to be approximately 5,000 renders long, meaning v.0.13 will be roughly double the size of the entire of Shadows over Manston,  and roughly three times the size of the previous biggest update for Defending Lydia Collier!
