Trying desperately to write down some of the stuff that whizzes through my head when I do these kind of things

If I were to critique myself I'd say the torso is too long and the leftmost shoulder region needs raised and enlarged a smidge. This sort of self critique is something I recommend you do post-drawing as it solidifies and develops concepts you pick up while drawing
