Although I watched a few episodes with Blanky a long time ago, Eren's mom's death came as a surprise because I don't remember anything save for the heavy atmosphere surrounding these characters. Merle is alive! Though we can't say we missed him lol! He fits in in the Governor's group perfectly now that we know what we know after yet another big twist at the end of this episode! It was nice to see a bit of the world outside of Rick and the group, especially since that community is built in a way that will make you yet again question what's right and wrong in this world. And the character of the Governor? Definitely intriguing!
