As many times as I played Final Fantasy 7 back in the day, once I learned (accidentally) that you could go on a date with Barret, I made sure to do so on every subsequent playthrough! I really liked how many characters in this game were a departure from Square's soon-to-be-the-norm androgynous 18-yr old model.
