I didn’t blame Shikato for letting the others get away. He was just a newly minted Chuunin, barely more than a Genin, being able to hold five other Genin for even a moment was already impressive.
And it allowed the Inuzuka duo to get in nice and close, which was perfect since it forced them to engage in taijutsu, meaning suddenly the only one free to use ninjutsu was our side as both Shikato and bug boy stayed back.
All this happened in a single moment while I was mind ai...

With the festival behind us, it was time to get back to normal day-to-day things, get more training, and hang out inside the clan with the others.
Today, we decided to forgo the training and do something else for a change.
“So,” Sayo said, leaning over with an exaggerated whisper, “how did your date go?”
I arched a brow. “Which one of us are you asking?”
Sayo blinked innocently. “I was talking to you, obviously. I already know how mine went.”

The courtyard had been cleared before sunrise.
Dust had been swept, stones scrubbed, and fresh mats laid out along the eastern wall—where a row of main house elders now sat under the shade of the sakura pavilion, robes stiff with formality and eyes sharp with quiet judgment.
I stood barefoot in the center of the training floor, sleeves rolled back, toes pressing lightly into the polished stone. Across from me stood Hiashi and his twin, both already settled into opening st...

In the days following my first lessons on politics, I fell into a steady rhythm of more lessons on either things I needed to know as the future clan head’s wife or things I needed to be a good wife.
Then there were days of training. Those were, without a doubt, the most exciting days. After all, I cared little for politics or for the duty of being a wife; I had tried that once before, and men aren’t to be trusted like that.
Not to say men didn’t have their use.

Before long, the third great shinobi was in full swing. And it wasn’t pretty.
Compared to the wars before it, this one was many times more brutal.
And it would be long, very long. I wasn’t sure about how long it would last, I can’t remember if it was even mentioned in the anime, and even if it was, I had experienced more then a thousand years since then.
Chakra might help with the memory, but it had its limits, remembering unimportant details from that long ago ...

The war raged on for three long years, three full years. There were a few times when it seemed that it might come to an end. Yet, before peace could return, the fighting resumed.
It was during this time that I saw Zetsu's hand—or rather, his work. I never saw him in person, but I noticed a bit of my chakra on someone.
Clearly, he was still being careful, hiding away from the clans themselves. Yet, he was still playing his little games from the shadows, using his, or rathe...

The morning mist clung to the trees as we moved, dampening the air and making each breath feel a bit heavier. The rich, earthy scent of wet leaves and fertile soil filled my nose as we passed beneath the thick canopy, our footfalls muffled by the thick layer of wet leaves and moss covering the forest floor.
The trip through the Land of Fire had been uneventful; we didn’t encounter any people, either enemies or allies, and certainly no civilians, not while moving by ninja routes...

It was naturally too much to hope for the mission to go without problems.
Though honestly it would have taken a damn miracle to complete it without combat at least a few times.
Had we only needed to scout once, it wouldn’t have been a problem, but given we had to continue scouring the area for a long time, we were bound to run into enemies.
Bandits weren’t a problem; they wouldn’t be able to find us, and if we wanted to get rid of them, our resident bug swarm fi...

Life in the Hyūga Clan was one filled with lessons and little time for fun. Kids were expected to be trained ninja, elite killers; we were scouts, spies, and we should be able to do first aid. Cook, clean, and more.
Not to mention that women had even more to learn, given that we were expected to take care of our household once married. And that was even more so for me.
Due to my talent, I was to marry into the Main family and become the wife of the next clan head. Which wo...

The current Hyūga Clan was still finding itself, though from what I could see, the current clan head wasn’t half bad. His Byakugan was highly pure, and he could see the entire clan all at once including much of the surrounding lands.
Seeing is knowing, and knowing is a power of its own. With a good idea of his clan’s current situation, he could better decide on the path forward.
He was a smart guy, I would admit that much, his focus was on how to truly secure his clans...

With introductions out of the way, we quickly gathered together by a fallen tree, where I could help unblock their tenketsu.
None could compare to the Hyūga Clan when it came to knowledge about those, not even Tsunade. After all, we could see them, and we had studied them for centuries.
“You did well Koji, though it was reckless to charge in without gathering information.” I slowly began to discuss our fight.
“Heh, but didn’t you do the same?” he replied wi...

The main hall of the Hyūga estate was quiet, the kind of silence that pressed against the skin like fog. Tatami mats stretched in perfect lines beneath the gathered elders, their pristine robes untouched by even a thread of dust. Lanterns flickered softly, casting long shadows across the polished floor.
This was not a casual meeting.
“I assume everyone is aware of the child in question,” said Lady Haruka, eldest of the main house council. Her voice was smooth, unhurrie...

We reached the outer wall of the Hyūga compound just as the sun began to sink behind the village rooftops. The gates opened without a word, the guards already recognizing Kazou-sensei’s chakra signature. As the four of us stepped through, I felt the shift immediately—like slipping into still water after a run through the forest.
Everything inside was calm. Controlled.
Kazou-sensei slowed, then turned to face us. “Good work. We kept pace, covered the full route, and y...

The recognition of the Inuzuka clan sparked a new wave of ambition among the smaller groups and families scattered across the land. It became clear to many that they, too, could rise to prominence if they had something unique to offer. And so, the race to become the next recognized clan began. This competition became fertile ground for new techniques, alliances, and rivalries.
After their recognition, I kept a close eye on the Inuzuka clan. They were fascinating in their simplici...

A week had passed since the meeting with the elder council.
And indeed, no punishment had come my way, not even a scolding. They barely mentioned abandoning the mission, instead focusing on my new secret technique.
I had a slight feeling that they weren’t happy that someone from the branch family achieved it. Only the fact that I was already recognized as the biggest genius in the clan and slated to join the main family made them ignore that.
Still, I was rewarded f...

Reincarnation is the dream of countless people; so many dreamed of another chance, another life. Entire religions were centered around it.
And even if one isn’t very religious, just the amount of people reading books, watching films, or playing games and silently wishing to reincarnate into those worlds was surely staggering.
And why wouldn’t it be so? Who wouldn’t want another chance, a better or more exciting life, a more exciting world? To become a god or something...

War never changes, or so it goes, but war is changing a lot. Chakra is becoming the newest tool of it, and it is changing in ways I can only imagine the invention of the gun did.
A few small wars had occurred in the lands not controlled by the Uchiha or Hagoromo clans, which finally pushed for a change in the status quo that had remained since Hamura had last shown himself.
The Uchiha clan has never been evil; they have always wanted peace, just like the Senju clan. After a...

Kaguya had showcased quite a few powerful abilities and tools in her short fight against Naruto and Sasuke.
While her fighting skills weren’t too impressive, she was still fast and strong, but her true strength came from abilities such as the eight gods' vacuum attack, which could reduce even the full Susanoo to nothing.
Or the All-killing ash bones, the ultimate one-hit kill ability. Or the rabbit hair needles to use her hair itself to shield her or attack. Then there wa...

After watching the two siblings practicing their Ninshū together, I started to look for something more interesting: my grandsons.
They were a lot harder to track down than I had first expected. After all, I could see Chakra, so I figured that just looking for the biggest sources of it, I should find them. After all, there was no way others had more chakra than them.
Yet, it wasn’t quite that easy. For one, my son hadn’t just given Chakras to people; he had made many tr...

In about an hour from this becoming public, a new story will drop, Kaguya's Legacy, a Naruto Fanfic. The first 60 chapters will drop over the next few hours, though hopefully there shouldn't be too much spam. I toggled off notifications for them.
So, why a new story? Why not focus on the other one? Is that getting dropped? Slowed down?

Steve Rogers, Captain America, hero of the Second World War and the world’s first super soldier, had been given many more titles over the long years since he had disappeared.
It wasn’t all of them he approved of; some of them seemed to paint him in a light that he didn’t agree with.
The entire world was so different from what he remembered, everything had changed so much. It was to be expected, seventy years had passed, and he fought hard to give the world a future.

“And that concludes my report, Your Majesty.” Ana, one of the former widows, said as she took a respectful step back.

I shook my head, focusing instead on the present rather than the past.
Loki’s schemes and those of his mother were not my concern; I played along because it did benefit me to do so. After all, all I had to do was help delay things, and I could do that much.
Not that I minded the idea of sending my knights off to war; they were warriors, unafraid of war, thriving on the battlefield. They wouldn’t mind, many being restless, desiring combat, and against worthy foes at that...

With the agreement reached, Loki wasted no time ending the match. Halvar, ever the dutiful soldier, obeyed. In the middle of an exchange that could have gone either way, he took a step back, raised a hand, and announced his withdrawal.
It was clean. Respectful. But it lacked conviction.
I saw it in his eyes—that flicker of protest, the bitterness that came from being denied the finish he had fought for. It wasn’t the loss that stung; it was the lack of closure. The duel...

On the sands below, Halvar stomped once, sending a ripple through the arena floor. His axes gleamed like thunderclouds caught in moonlight. The crowd murmured with anticipation.
Mordred drew Clarent.
There was no flash of power, no dramatic aura—just steel and bloodlust.
She didn’t wait for a signal. With a roar, she lunged forward, a blur of re...

Hosting Loki wasn’t easy; I could easily tell that he wanted to get the full royal treatment; he wanted acknowledgment, the only thing he ever really wanted.
That in of itself wasn’t a problem, but he was vain about it; for him, it wasn’t enough to just give me a bit of my time, he wanted more.
And given his childish, vindictive nature, I had to humour him.
I still remember one particular activity, though not one I disliked all that much myself, it was, a fight....

The council chamber of Wakanda was quieter than usual.
Normally, the domed room pulsed with quiet confidence, the voices of tribe leaders echoing off vibranium-laced walls with the calm certainty of a nation long untouched by colonial meddling. But today, there was tension—thick, silent, and sharp as obsidian.
T’Chaka sat at the head of the crescent-shaped table, regal and unmoving, his face carved in stone. Above the center of the room hovered a still holographic frame...
