this was such a fun episode! watching Rory go at Shane was giving me second hand embarrassment 🤣 like girl, STAND UP. why are we doing this, just walk away. what an interesting little family we've stumbled upon in this episode. I really really enjoyed getting to see carol and hearing her perspective. I love that it gave Rory a minute to step back and look at how lucky she is to have a mom who just wants her to be happy and do whatever it is that she wants to do. the Luke and Taylor stuff is always just such a funny time and was that ADAM BRODY!? 😆

hmmm there was quite a revelation at the end of this episode but I'm thinking that that is just a misunderstanding and not actually what's going on here, although I could be wrong. seeing Oliver and Charles recreate how they think someone was able to do this in the timeframe they have was so much fun and so funny 😆 I also really enjoyed getting to see all the doubles of them- there's so much going on this season but I'm loving it!! 🩶

Neville is feeling much better - other than the heat this past week 🤣 but he's back to his normal self. I on the other hand - hurt my hand on Tuesday while working a young horse and have been incredibly exhausted all week. my hand was pretty excruciating for a few days and is starting to feel better and like I can edit again without too much pain, so I'll be getting a couple videos up for you guys tomorrow after work! I love that he somehow ended up getting the pig. that is so on brand for him. and watching him stick up for Oliver even though it was backhanded was EVERYTHING. chef's kiss. that Christmas apartment was also incredible. I really enjoyed seeing Richard and Lorelai out together and also getting along while all that was going on. it was bound to go wrong at some point, but I think Richard was just really enjoying the time spent with lorelai and it didn't hurt that she was good at the job! This was such an interesting episode! I loved getting to see Luke work through a bit of a parenting struggle and I think he handled it the best way he knew how. I think he should've talked to lorelai about it first, instead of just going to Rory, but either way, he was on the right track. This episode was such an interesting one and I think we're really starting to see the downfall of Rory and Dean here. Her demeanor when he comes into the diner for a start. she looked genuinely deflated when he showed up which is interesting. I was getting so into Charles' patter song. like way into it 🤣 I was so insanely proud of him for not only getting through it but absolutely KILLING it! I finally stopped calling Cliff Clint in the second half of this episode so that's great news 🤣 We got to see Detective Williams again which is always a fun time and also got to see our crew kind of heal and start working together again!
