Life Update

Hey y'all!

Thanks for all the support with the patreon demo! I've been getting a lot of amazing feedback I can't wait to make some changes. 

I had to be abruptly moved out of my apartment unit into a new one because all the rain in LA damaged my unit and started making black mold. So now I'm in the new unit, and I should be able to get back to programming the rest of the game. I have the rest of the story for the next update all planned out, but just got...

Another teaser

I'll be releasing some of the work from March onto twitter and FA this month. Y'all get to see all these FULL previews on patreon first a month early. Everyone else will see some ideas of what's coming until it's out.

Patreon Demo VERY close!

Hey y'all! I'm so so so close to getting a demo out to y'all! I just need to fix one small error with some save files, make a cleaner map, and then we're good for releasing a demo!

So expect a demo in the next week or so :D.

Schedule Update - 03/30/2023

We're so close to getting a Patreon Demo out!! The hardest part of coding is done for the moment. I have one error I have to figure out, and a few more things to rough out for this demo. 

Once I get this demo all done and posted, I'll include a google doc for y'all to leave me any notes, feedback, or error messages y'all might be getting. I'll also have a mac and PC version for y'all to download. Probably just a google drive link for y'all to download the zip folder from...

Secret Cave - Coming Along

Here's a preview of the fun to be had in this secret cave. I'm on a tough part coding wise but once I get past this step I should be able to run through the rest of it pretty quickly.

Can't wait to start cleaning up these drawings. The demo I'll be sending to y'all will be about this quality, but it should give you an idea of what's to come!

Just wanted to let y'all know I'm almost done with finalizing the UI for the game! The last thing I need is to get the credits all arranged.

If y'all want to be credited please respond to my message and let me know what name you want on the credits. If I don't hear from you I wouldn't feel comfortable just putting your name as is on the credits. 

But anyways what do y'all think?! I love how it turned out :D.

Secret Encounter - Pet

Working on getting the secret encounter underway. I have a really fun idea in store. If you find out how to get there - you might run into this guy. 

You'll be hunted, cornered, pinned, and taken for a bit of fun before being... swallowed.

Opening scenes

Really happy with how this is coming out! Here's the first shot of the island that you'll see. This is just a rough to get the idea of the image. I can't wait to see everything come together.

Once all the roughs are put in and coded to the end of the Patreon demo, I'll release that to y'all. It won't be until I get most/all the final paintings complete that I'll release the public demo.

Species Transformation Choices

Here's the rough of what the species selection screen will look like. Right now it's only the doggo as a choice, however, with more support and time I'll be able to make a few more species.

Roughing Out - On the bus

I'm roughing out the backgrounds and characters for the title sequence opening. Here's a look at the first two scenes.

Protag - Dog Form

Here's my initial idea for the main character's dog form! Feels like a golden retriever mixed with a nova stotcha duck tolling receiver (what a mouth full lol).

What do y'all think? Loving and cute and dumb as a box of hair.

Progress chart coming along!

Hey y'all! Pretty excited to share this. I've got the public demo mapped out. There will be a lot of pages and dialoged to go in between and at all of the points here. This is more of a beat sheet to help me organize what happens.

Once I get all the red area coded out and put into the game, I'll be releasing a demo to all y'all Patreons to test play.
