Today I'm sharing a strange set of images I made with tattooer & model Lauren Fernandez last month in my studio. Lauren came to pose for 'The Inner Outside', a tattoo-photo project I'm working on (the exhibit I invited you all a week ago will have a preview of that project) ...Lauren has an incredible back p...

Happy to share something pretty damn ridiculous and great I made with Australian London based cabaret / burlesque performer Reuben Kaye last May.
Reuben's first look ended up him covering himself completely in silver body paint and glitter. It didn't leave much options but the stuff we did ended up hilariously epic. The shoot was originally initiated as a promo shot for Reuben.
The studio shots will be included in my 'Studio Fragments' project. The roof pic ended up into my ...

I've been a little quiet recently. I was exploring a world of magic at Boom Festival in Portugal (one of the best festivals I've ever attended), followed by Wilderness, Green Man and Shambala (in the UK).
I wrote a little groupie blog post about Boom, you can check it out here. I posted few pics on my 2018-08-30 14:44:59 +0000 UTC

Nearly a year ago today (July 18, 2017), I did a shoot with performer / artist / model Bryony Owl wearing harnesses from Broke Boutique. We did it in my London studio as part of my 'Studio Fragments' project. The combination of Broke Boutique's eco-friendly sustainably sourced rubber designs and Bryony's beautiful naturally hairy body ...

I ventured with a dancer friend to one of my fav places in London; a secret magical trees formation kissing the banks of River Lea just off the football pitch in Hackney Marshes, 10min walk from my studio in East London.
I really hope you're ok today. If you're not, please go find a tree to hug, or a friend. Please find someone to talk to. I love you <3

Yo all!! Hope you're well this weekend! It's been nearly a month since I last posted new work on here. I've been doing a bunch of different stuff in the background but I also managed to slowly edited few things to share with you all! London is extremely hot nowadays which is nice but also frustrating if you want to get any work done in front of a computer (everyone just wants to be in the park sunbathing :s)
Today I'm sharing a series of photos I've done with circus artists Tessa Blackm...

I've also (finally) started working on a new Podcast.

I've been adding new work and editing my portfolio on my main website. I'm still working on it you can go take a look at: there...

Today I'm bringing you 12 unpublished edits from 2 collabs I've done with makeup & facepaint artist Rowan Lennard in 2013.
These photographs were edited out of 2 shoots we did in my London studio in December 2013 (Dec 21 & 22, 2013).
Both shoots were generally improvised, face paint and photos. The first shoot (purple face) was on Dec 21. The yellow ones happened the day after. I'll be p...

I figured it'll be helpful to have one post serving as an index for all the new work I'm sharing on here.
This post will appear on the main page (patreon.com/BenHopper) and will be updated every time I make share new work.
To date, I made a total of 57 posts previewing 445 images on this Patreon:

Happy Sunday ladies and gents! Today I'd like to share 6 photographs I made yesterday with my circus artist friends Jonathan Fortin (Canada) and Felipe Reyes (Colombia).
Inspired by the nostalgia the last set of images of Katrina Louise awoken, we may have snuck up onto my roof, which now has construction works for some sort of penthouse lofts to be built on in the next 10,000 years (my landlor...

It's been a little while so I'm very excited to share some old/new (unpublished) photographs with you today!
These photographs are meaningful and a bit sentimental to me too because they were taken on the roof of my studio's building in Hackney Wick (East London), a roof that's been locked up for years now. It's a beautiful souvenir for a roof that used to be a gathering place for so many wonderful warm / cold days and nights. A community spot for BBQs, a place where you can go for a sm...

I first saw contemporary French circus troupe Compagnie XY perform in Madrid in 2010. I was completely overwhelmed. The show, Le Grand C, had them repeating and variating on different forms of human pyramids. It was so slow and complex my brain hurt, the good kind of hurt.

I'm writing this post sitting in my teenage room at my parents' place in Israel.
I spent 2 months here, concluding a total of 7 months away from London.
Tonight I'm catching a flight to London feeling revived, inspired and motivated to go back into full work-mode.
Despite being in some sort of short sabbatical, I think I managed to do quite alright as far as productivity through this Patreon.
I wanted to do a quick review of what I've done so far and share...

Hey there!
I just edited my 'About' section and I'd love to hear your thoughts or any feedback you got! (it's just the main part of my Patreon page, the text bit).
As I've said before, this Patreon is new to me and the way I see it it's an ongoing experiment. I'm still figuring it out as I go. I must have made mistakes and will probably do more...but the most important thing to me is to tr...

Quick note to pass thru few things that's been on my mind:
1. I realised that actually, since I started this Patreon I wasn't as active as I wished I would be. I've been treating the last few months as a sort of time-off. A short Sabbatical even. Some down-time I yearned for a long time. It's been an insanely valuable thing for me to do. I learned a lot about myself, the world, life. It really helped me to figure out and find my voice again. I just want to thank you for your patience - even if...

New from the archives; I spent the month of July (2016) in Montreal. It's been years that I wanted to visit that city. There's a great circus community in Montreal because of Cirque de Soleil. The Montreal Circus School is in the same complex and there's also TOHU, a performing arts centre. During July Montreal turns into a festival city. One festival after another. When I was there they had the Montreal Jazz Festival, followed by Festival Montréal Com...

I finally got to meet Cat Widdifield last year in New York. We snuck up onto a roof in Brooklyn and glittered away. I'm pretty sure Cat has a severe addiction to glitter. If she could swim in it, she would.
Cat is an incredible looking dancer, circus artist and personal trainer. She's got a wicked vibe.

Just a quick note to mention 2 things:
1. Apologies for being a bit quiet, I've been traveling and making some new work in South America since Mid October.
Peru, Bolivia, Chile and in the beginning of Jan; Patagonia.
I haven't had much time to catch up with my computer even though all of the content of this Patreon was created in Peru.
I also don't have so much internet here.
After Patagonia I will spend about 2 months at my parents place in Israel wher...
