Due to having more animators now, I have to start doing character sheets for the Erma cast. So that’s what I work on Sundays. These’ll not only help out for animation, but for art in general as well.

Something's Happening (Animation WIP)

So we are in the midst of getting an animated short together. Admittedly, things halted because of me having to finish up pencils for The Harvest. But we have the storyboards finished and are now putting together an animatic.

Teachers Prepping for School (WIP)

Been getting back into artists like Mike Mignola, Darwyn Cooke, and Bruce Timm. Specifically because I want to try simplifying my art (backgrounds specifically) without loosing some of the details I like doing. For these smaller panels, I at least found an excuse to start trying this out.

Erma's Room Layout

For the longest time, I never really had a layout for Erma's room. I know, how unprofessional. However, due to animation purposes, I've had no choice but to start making background layout and a location design. These will not only be used for animation, but maybe also just for reference for art in general. Consistency... the horror. Anyway, here's what Erma's full room looks like.

I was gonna leave the new comic strip as a comic strip. But then figured to heck with it and make a quick motion comic out of it.

Back to Class Again

Starting this week, I’ll be heading back into working on the next story arc. Took this long due to The Harvest, but here we are.

Trying to get a consistent schedule together with 3 weekdays of working on the main comic and 2 weekdays of working on animation. Hope to keep this schedule up. In the meantime, here’s where I eft off at (basically inking the first page).

First Entry of ERMAWEEN 2025 Already Done

Don’t know if I already posted this here or anywhere, but back before I decided to turn ERMAWEEN into a costume party, I did try to do the traditional crossovers starting with this piece. But of course by the time I fully colored this, I suddenly realized at that we wouldn’t be able to do a traditional ERMAWEEN with everything what we were doing at the time.

While I’m combing through your suggestions, figured why not reuse this for this year’s ERMAWEEN? Hope you’re looking for...
