Here we go again, I tried to get a more "magic cave" type of ambiance here. I really like her design, even tho it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo weird lmao
Idk what fromsoftware smoke during the concept process, but if they can keep smoking it I'm all up for it.

I'll start colors once I'm done with all the lines probably, to avoid having too many differences in the way I'm making these. Space between work is sometimes visible, and it's something you don't want in series like these.

I really like how Victory thought of using both Devil Fruits in these, I think the match is absolutely perfect lol

I started a new big commission with Victory Roman, a waaaaaaay larger one than the Nessa one, so you can thank him for these two!

Elden Ring is quite a surprise honestly, I never really saw any Souls girl ever trend. I also know about Melina and a few other interesting ones, so I might draw more Elden ring in a near future. I hope you like that one!

Never played Elden Ring, but I really love the designs in it.

And there goes the free picture of the Yae Miko's pack second part. I'm still working on the rest of that pack (5 pictures left in total) where I added Ei as well to spice things up.
As said during the last post, I did go for the tree background. I kinda wanted to go for a natural sky in the background at first, but I thought it would be more appealing to have a purple sky, and I really like how it ended up looking.

Line's done, let's get to colors. I think I'm gonna do something like the second picture for the background. I really like this tree and the ambiance it gives (Genshin is really good when it comes to backgrounds).
All the other pictures are used as a moodboard. For those who don't know, artists usually use these to have an inspiration pannel. I'm actually using Pure Ref (a very good software and perfect for that usage) to make all my moodboards.

I finally came up with something cool for that second part! I'll deliver this one for free at the end of it (spoilers: the second part starts with Yae, but end up with both her and Ei)
Same thing as last time, I started sketching in Photoshop and will end up in Paint.net. The only thing Idk here is the atmosphere/ambiance I want to give to the whole picture. Maybe I'll decide before the next post, in which case I will show a moodboard, to better understand what I'm going for.

Fun fact, whenever I start using paint.net, I'm mostly drawing with my mouse lol... I don't really need to paint anything, since the line is made with a tool that allow you to transform it all you want.
In fact, the software doesn't recognize tablet pressure, so I'm just committing to the limitations to make something cool with what it has. I'll explain everything about the color process in the .PDN file post.

I figured it would be cool to share these here as well since the first picture will be released for free! So let's talk about my process here:
I make the lines in photoshop, in a way too big PSD file (the latest two I used were at least 4gb big lol)
Once I'm done, I take the lines into paint.net and put the resolution to 950x758 (originally 2600x2183 in photoshop). And now, as usual, I make the line transparent and get ready to do lines in pixel art.

The file isn't that big, I hope you can learn a thing or two from this.
Nothing too different from the usual process, exception made maybe for the line, which is made without the pen pression. Believe it or not, but it is quite harde to ink that way... You have to be more precise and careful than with the usual technique.
I also tried to blend diffuse and concrete shadows sometimes (on the nail polish for example) if I find it necessary.
