An earlier piece I did about Yamato as well. I think I wasn't as confident in the lighting as the other one, but it helped me train on doing variations.

Now this one might be a little interesting for the background. If you want to know how I get this wood-ish kind of texture, it's very simple:
Type wood texture on google or pinterest, copy one that seems interesting to you and ctrl+v on a product layer. That's it, the only efforts you have to put into that are finding the texture and resizing it.

Here are some of the variations for the lines. It's only a few, since I came up with 16 variations in total.
I tried my best to make the scenery and lighting as interesting as possible as well, with the background, since it's not the first time I draw Yamato. I'll let you see what I came up with in the next post.

It's a pretty big one, but I really like how it turned out. A bit challenging (you'll see why in the next pose), but cool nontheless

Little tip for artists wanna be there, I always separate the different lines that I need to be modified in different layers, that way I can easily work on them when I switch for another image (exemple between image 1 and 2)
Trying to make these a little bit more interesting, so you guys don't get bored and get a bit more understanding, it's always fun to share more!
