The REAL Sir Clive Sinclair: Portable TV's, Black Watches and C5's, Oh my! - Kim Justice

We've done plenty on Sir Clive Sinclair in the past, but we've never really looked at the man himself...we've looked more at his image. This documentary examines the man himself, and looks at a whole bunch of products that AREN'T the Spectrum - from other computers like the ZX80, ZX81 and QL, to the Black Watch, TV-80, and - of course - the Sinclair C5. Top 10 Psygnosis Games! - Kim Justice

I've been having a lil' break! So, just to tide you over, here's a little top 10 video of my own favourite Psygnosis games - I played so many great ones over the course of making the big Psygnosis video that I thought I could do it no problem. Thank you so much for making the Story and Games of Psygnosis video such a success, and a hearty hello to all the new subs that's come from it :) - enjoy!

We hit $500!!!! Let's talk about the future.

Hi folks!  Just wanted to put a quick note thanking all of you so much for allowing me to hit that $500 goal on Patreon...that's amazing.  As I said previously, I never thought I'd hit the $100 goal so to reach $500 is fantastic.  Whether you're donating $1, $10 or anything at all, you have helped a great deal in making my YouTube dreams a reality.  Thank you all!

Now, this goal was made originally to help get new equipment for the channel.  In the interest of tran...

The Story and Games of Psygnosis: The UK's Greatest Games Company? - Kim Justice

Psygnosis rose from the ashes of Imagine, seemingly with the aim to put everything that wrong right again. Which they did, with interest. This is the story of their dominance over an untold amount of classic games: Lemmings, Shadow of the Beast, Wipeout and everything inbetween. No company looked to the future or wowed the crowd as much as Psygnosis did back then...Enjoy!

Hard Drivin' (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis) Review of a Mundane Game - Kim Justice

Hard Drivin' is quite possibly one of the most maligned games there is on the Mega Drive, usually only brought up so people can have a right good laugh at 3D that's 25 years old...but bah - I've always enjoyed it. A lot. And so, in this review, I'm going to defend Hard Drivin' for all it's worth - a solid conversion of what was at the time a seriously advanced arcade game. Enjoy!

World Cup Italia '90 (Sega Mega Drive) - Review of a Mundane Game - Kim Justice

Today, we have a little review of a football game that just about everyone who had a Mega Drive probably knows...it's World Cup Italia '90! And...well, it's ugly, a game that plays terrible football in every possible way. You won't find any blast processing here...so why on earth does it strike such a chord? How did this game get played so much? Why is it even remembered?...let's find out! Enjoy!

The Story of Imagine Software: The Rock 'n' Roll Games Company - Kim Justice

It's another big Spectrum software documentary! This time, it's a company that burnt very bright for a very short period - Imagine. After just one year where they looked like the biggest company of them all and released games like Arcadia and Ah Diddums, they tore themselves apart with bad management and...well, not being good with money. And most of it was caught on camera...we alluded to their story back in the Ocean video, but they certainly deserve a full one all of their own. Enjoy!

Takeshi's Challenge Review - NES/Famicom: The Whole (Weird) Story - Kim Justice

Time for a quite strange review...Takeshi's Challenge for the Famicom. A game designed by someone who doesn't like video games who also happens to be Takeshi Kitano, comedian, actor, painter, and filmmaker extraordinaire. The result is, just as it says, a challenge. And one hell of a trip. Let's look into just how on earth such a game came about! Enjoy!

The Story of the S.S.T Band: Sega Sound Team - Kim Justice

In the late 80's, a group of Sega composers who between them wrote the soundtracks for Space Harrier, Out Run, Super Hang-On, Thunder Blade, After Burner and many others - music that helped to change the very idea of what video game music could be, decided to form a house band! This is a brief look at the story of the S.S.T Band, and an excuse to listen to some awesome music - which you should absolutely check out. Enjoy!

The Rise and Fall of Peter Molyneux: Part 4 - Godus, and the Tragedy of 22cans - Kim Justice

Here we are then, at the last part of the Peter Molyneux saga. It's all about 22cans...which means Godus and Godus Wars. It means Curiosity. It means a Kickstarter nightmare, life-changing promises that are not delivered on, a bruising interview, and the destruction of Molyneux's reputation. Good stuff! And of course...the final summation of his legacy. It's been a long journey, but at last - we've reached the end. Enjoy!

The Rise and Fall of Peter Molyneux: Part 3 - The Death of Lionhead Studios - Kim Justice

The fall begins. Part 3 of the Peter Molyneux saga goes all the way up to the end of Lionhead itself, from a final highpoint of Fable II, to the botched up Fable III and the aborted Milo and Kate. Molyneux leaves to form 22cans and Lionhead are closed after the cancellation of Fable: Legends...a lot to go through then, and it's not exactly the happiest of times. As usual, there'll be plenty of opportunities to look at just what Peter Molyneux was saying back then, amongst others. Enjoy!

In Part 2 of our look at Peter Molyneux, we move to Lionhead Studios!

This first half details Peter's attempt to set up another great

independent studio, and it's ever closer relationship with Microsoft.

got more and more lies...there's all the struggles you'd expect, other

projects like B.C, attempts at expansion, satellite studios like Big

Patreon Blog #1, 12/06/2016: Love Will Always Win, Molly Part 2

Hi folks.  Was hoping to write this Patreon blog on a better day, but...well.  I wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to write anything, as I've been way too out of it.  An entire ocean may separate me from what happened in Orlando, but those were my brothers and sisters in that club, murdered for being who they were - by a hateful homophobic American citizen with an assault rifle...and again, it feels as if people don't actually care about that.  They don't care enough...

As one of the best platformers of the 90's, Flashback deserves to be revisited...especially because we're now looking at the whole series - Fade to Black on the PS1, the cancelled Flashback Legends on GBA, and Flashback HD. It all makes up for another European software story, surrounding Delphine Software and Paul Cuisset's marvellous creation. Enjoy!

We're back with Eternal Champions again! The classic fighting game that was almost up there with Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, but was then snuffed out cruelly. We've got the original game, the awesome Challenge From The Dark Side on Mega CD, and two terrible spin-offs - X-Perts and Chicago Syndicate! And, of course, loads more.
