NEXT MONTH?

No new level next month...but maybe some new bosses~? Next month we're going to spend working on art assets, story beats and general polish as we approach the Kickstarter!? (potentially in August?)

The kickstarter's still up in the air so I'll have more information on that closer to its announcement. But I did want to have a good chunk of the game wrapped up to give a clear idea of what all we want to accomplish with the project and the kinds of things (and kinks) we want to showcase.<...

FATTYS BREAKDOWN

NEW GAME UPDATE LIVE FOR $8+ GAME DEV TIERS! For everyone else, I figured yall might want to see the big project since you are supporting it one way or another! I will see about posting enemy sprites weekly like I did for SFRPG or something.

I'm real sorry ya'll I meant to have a lot more together but my travel has really thrown a wrench in my productivity. I'm trying to get one of the new weapons done as well as some of the more general mechanics but we will not have a new level this time around. We'll really not have much new things at all tbh?

THIS MONTH!

Sorry ya'll I was so busy getting stuff together I forgot to talk about what we're doing this month.

As you might guess we're doing another game update this moth which we hope to have out by the 22nd or so! From here on out game updates are gonna be pretty regular. We've got a whole new level and a bunch of new mechanics so stay tuned~

GAMEPLAY QUESTIONS

A lot of people have asked and YES! This game has weight gain. Your size will have an effect on the world and limit your mobility and such as it did in SFRPG (tldr: you can't go through doorways anymore fatty) 

That being said: there's issues with a constantly changing weight. If, for instance, you are in a narrow alley and suddenly get too big for it. You're *stuck*. I was worried about this but realize some people might actually LIKE this looming threat.

OUT OF CURIOSITY...

I've been torn on what kind of game project I'd want to create and what kind of games ya'll would prefer. Imagining a game like SFRPG, if you HAD to choose between these extremes: which would you prefer?

Linear Storyline -

An RPG with plenty of elements of customization but, ultimately a clear linear storyline (even if there are branching paths). Something more like a traditional RPG or, at its most ambitious, something like Baldur's Gate III. This allows for deeper storytelling, ...

Candle Jokes?

Something like 'can't hold a candle to that gut' or something like that? Anyways commission for Quirkhopper!
